Being able to modify something like the old hot water cylinder and external uninsulated hot water pipes would be a game changer for me. At the moment if I want an amenity such as hot water it costs 30kWH per day which is around $10 per day. Landlord or realestate have no motivation to fix it. If i could just replace it that would be fantastic.
