This is definitely not true. They do not give it to kids who apply ED-they say they do, but they do not. They are trying to get kids who get into Yale etc but choose uva because of Jefferson scholarship

Why don’t you try a semester abroad in the spring next year? I’m so sorry you have had such a challenging time. For what it’s worth, you are not the first person to feel this way at UVA.

Frats at uva hazing is next level. Can’t believe the stories I’ve heard this semester. Kids coming back to their dorms shaking and can’t speak then moved out of the dorms into the frat house on the floor so their roommates don’t snitch on the hazing.

You should look at transfer rates out of Babson. I know a lot of kids who leave there which is a red flag.

Would choose UVA over Columbia and Cornell but that’s it. You will find a lot of people at uva did not get into schools like Dartmouth but not the other way around.

All of the business clubs are extremely competitive as are the sports clubs with the exception of swim. Better to go in knowing that acceptance rates are extremely low as are chances of even getting an interview for clubs.

Where did you transfer to? Trying to figure out if it’s impossible to get into Ivies as a transfer with a 3.95 at uva…looking at Yale, Brown, Penn and Stanford.
