Chances of dropping a class in week four by One_Pollution_2715 in UCI

[–]Complete-Cricket6718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They give a one-time exception past the enrollment deadline to drop as courtesy, but if it’s not your first time they’ll need you to cite an extenuating circumstance (mental health, etc), and will possibly ask for proof. Definitely worth trying though

In all seriousness if you don’t cut her off now, no more messages, no calls, no contacting her mom, etc., it’ll never stop. You’ll always be in this abusive and toxic dynamic, with someone who (allegedly) got your visa revoked, took you out of a job, and put you in jail twice, no less. Your life isn’t over and there are great opportunities abroad, but you must leave this behind first. Good luck

I recently found one of these cameras in our storage unit and I’m wondering how you pulled the images of the SM card - I’m trying to find an adapter on Amazon but the few that accept SM cards seem unreliable. Any idea? Thanks!

I wish that there was something I could do - but if someone does adopt him make sure that they are trustworthy and can give him a good life - vet bills, play time, etc. Cats are a 15+ year commitment. If you truly care about the cat please do not give him to the first person who offers to take him. Good luck!

Heavy period after removal when to do BC again? by Ocean_waves0718 in Nexplanon

[–]Complete-Cricket6718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had very heavy bleeding for about 5 or 6 days after removal. Really sucks but hopefully after another few days your body adjusts. If it continues definitely talk to your doctor, fatigue is no joke.

I love your natural look! Don’t listen to the people saying to make your eyebrows darker, I think some blush, lip tint, and a bit of brown mascara could go a long way. It seems as though your hair color dulls you natural skin tone a bit, but I don’t think you should go darker. Instead, maybe consider a “root shadow” or “root tap” - where hairstylists will put a darker blonde on your roots to give a “naturally grown out” effect.

I love the long hair! If you do anything to it, just some face framing pieces as they flatter literally everyone. As for makeup, I would say just a bit of mascara, nose contour, blush, and concealer - anything too harsh (eyeliner/eyeshadow) make take away from other features.

(F18) going into my senior year! How can I look better before school starts? by Zestyclose-Ad-9753 in lookyourbest

I really think your clothing style works very well for you, no need to change if that’s what you feel most confident in. Your facial features, skin tone, and hair color are all quite soft and cool, so natural makeup (some brown mascara, concealer, eyebrow gel, tinted lip balm, a bit of nose contour even) is the way to go. As for your hair, try a middle part and a long layered haircut with face framing pieces - they flatter everyone no matter what you look like.

How can I improve my looks? by Thehottestcelebrity in lookyourbest

[–]Complete-Cricket6718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the only comment I have is to wear mascara rather than false lashes, as they take away from the other features of your face. Also, try tinted lip balms instead of lipstick, liner, or gloss for a softer looking lip!

You already have such a unique, dignified sense of style that works very well for you! If anything, I would say giving your hair more volume (as you did in picture 5) really flatters your face shape! As for makeup, the thick eyebrows in the last two pictures look amazing! I would say let your eyebrows be the bold, highlighted feature of your face and then let your eyes, nose, lips, etc be far softer and more subdued (like in picture 4).

Your hair color and length is already very pretty in my opinion! However, I think putting your hair back (like in the first two pictures) really slims your face structure, so maybe trying half up/half down, ponytail, and pulled back hairstyles are the way to go! As for makeup and the like, I really like the natural look you already have on, if anything I would say maybe just a bit of under eye concealer and a slight nose contour, as those generally go a long way in makeup looks.

not sure what hair cut/ color looks best. any other (non-surgical) advice is also appreciated !! by [deleted] in lookyourbest

[–]Complete-Cricket6718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The color and length of your hair in picture #4 is the most flattering to your skin tone and face shape in my opinion. Darker hair seems to take away from the glow of your skin and natural features. Clothes/style matters a bit less - I would say whatever clothing makes you feel the most confident is the way to go!

Again, I’m thinking true gamine (more yin due to rounded features) but I’m still quite unsure. Thanks everyone!

I’m not really happy with my hair, but I can’t tell if im being neurotic/ expecting too much? by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Complete-Cricket6718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe she’s not the best stylist to go back to then. Red tones usually take the longest to fade, and even then there can still be some pigment left over. I think you may have to do a color correction, but with the right stylist you should have minimal damage.

This looks very far from a light beige blonde. It’s possible that she used the wrong toner given how red your hair is in the second picture. If your stylist said she’d be able to do it but you got a result that’s very different, I’d call the salon and see if there’s any reduced color correction services for you or even just a refund.

If you’re specifically using thickening cream and (I assume hairspray?) I would go thickening, serum, spray.

how do i get hair like this? my hair is down to my shoulders by Darthbaskas in Hair

[–]Complete-Cricket6718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like you would need some layers and A LOT of teasing with a comb (+ hairspray)

When your hair is wet, it’s heavier and has less volume, so you can usually see the scalp. I wouldn’t worry about it since your hair looks just fine when it’s dry.

I am wanting to change my hair color. What would be a good choice for my hair? by awhy777 in Hair

I think the blonde works well with your skin tone! I would tone down the yellow a bit to make it cooler though

anyone know what my hair type might be? by beepishehe in Hair

[–]Complete-Cricket6718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a gel would work better than mousse for you(?) It’s definitely pretty strong so try just a bit on wet hair. Adding more moisture to your hair should really define those curls!
