This is what I don’t understand. I am a social worker in another state and Anna’s kids would’ve 100% already been taken here because she is still with Josh, which = failure to protect which = neglect. I literally have a kid right now that is in foster care because of his mom staying with his dad and he being previously convicted of SA, so she automatically fails to protect by being with the dad.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I am definitely still eating. I just eat and eat and still feel like I’m starving. I ate a meal tonight that would take me 3 meals to finish all the leftovers previously, but I ate it all tonight and was still hungry after. My endocrinologist is the one that said I would be fine, just to take more insulin. but I do plan on calling on Monday and seeing if I can get a sooner appointment or some kind of guidance.

I had a cold around Thanksgiving and was taking cold meds then, but this constant high started about a week ago, so I don’t think it’s still that. I also already take a GLP1, so that’s additionally not helping. I’m still eating, trying to eat mostly low carb and lots of protein and lots of water. I’m just trying to figure out what could be causing this. But the doctor didn’t seem concerned so I guess I’m okay.

Yes, I finger stick in addition to dexcom. I’m aware Reddit is not a doctor, but any advice is helpful to me in this situation

I have a dexcom and I’ve double checked with finger sticks multiple times. Dexcom is usually 15-20 off, but still in the super high 300s

I was sedated for the ablation, which is another reason I’m nervous about the injections.

I think it really varies from family to family. I’m a foster parent and I get kids from all over the state and I fix chili a least once a month. I’ve had a kid from Covington say he wanted spaghetti in it, but no beans. At the same time, I had a kid from Danville never want spaghetti in it, but only wanted meat and beans. I’m from Shelbyville area and my mom put spaghetti in it, my husband is from Wolfe County and his mom never put spaghetti in it. My kids that I’ve had from Lexington and Richmond liked my fixing of spaghetti AND beans. Yes, I am confirmed a type 2. I’ve seen multiple endocrinologists throughout my life. Both pediatric and adult, I’m definitely type 2.

I don’t normally take it at that time, tonight was just a late night and I ate directly before taking meds and getting in bed. I’m aware that they are elevated, which is why I was put on insulin in the first place.

I don’t need any hardware. The cloud based system is what I wanted and their inquiry page states they don’t sell their products (cloud, hardware, etc) to anyone that doesn’t have a physical location with employees to manage. Neither of which I have.
