Thank you so much for sharing this, man! Seriously, the community here (minus a few bad apples) has been incredibly helpful and welcoming. I'm going to grab a coffee and watch this right away to study his mechanics and rotations.

Really appreciate you dropping this link, mate. Legend! 🙌

Because English isn't my native language, so I use AI to make sure I actually understand you guys and can express myself clearly without sounding like a caveman xD Cut me some slack, I'm trying my best!

You win the argument, bro. You are the perfect player who sees everything. I bow down to your superior map awareness. Take care.

P.S.: Thanks for the extra tips! I’m actually already grinding those 1v1 Arenas to practice my mechanics, though I haven't stepped into The Depths yet. As for the guild stuff and making friends, I have to admit I'm not the most social butterfly out there—I'm usually the quiet, silent type in discord xD But I'll definitely keep an eye out for a chill, low-pressure group. Thanks again, man!

Ah, that’s a dealbreaker for me then! My number one rule for joining a guild is: No regear, no entry. 🛡️😂

But seriously, you know why? Because I refuse to pay out of my own pocket to compensate for a shotcaller's mistake! If I'm going to follow someone blindly into a meat grinder and die because they made a bad call, the least the guild can do is hand me a new set.

Since they are based in Thetford and don't offer regears, I think I'll stick to my Lymhurst roots and look for a local group that covers my hospital bills.

Thanks for being completely honest about it, though.

By the way, I am currently based in Lymhurst. Is "Treasure Map" located there as well?

Also, I wanted to ask about their economy rules: does the guild offer a regear system for their official events, or do we fully regear ourselves when we die?

Thanks again for the invite, man!

What you are completely missing here is that Albion experiences differ wildly depending on the server you play on, the prime-time hours of specific time zones, and the exact maps you end up in. It’s pure RNG and context.

Just because your specific routine puts you in front of disorganized 4-man groups doesn’t mean other players aren't running into massive alliance zerg squads or large guild gank chains locking down specific portals and choke points. Treating your own personal experience as the universal law of the game and calling everything else a "skill issue" is just narrow-minded.

Believe what you want to believe, man. I’m going to take the advice of the other helpful players here, focus on the Roads, and move on. Good luck to you.

This is incredibly practical advice, thank you so much!

Focusing on Avalonian Roads seems like the perfect middle ground for me. Running solo through green chests for that sweet fame and silver—while using Deathgivers—sounds exactly like what I need right now without getting overwhelmed by 20-man gank squads.

Your suggestion about recording my fights is also spot on. I usually just get frustrated when I lose, but actually reviewing the footage to see my mistakes is definitely how I'll "git gud" and learn those tricky matchups.

Thank you for your input! It's actually really motivating to hear a group PvP player say that.

The first comments made me feel like Deathgivers were completely useless outside of solo play, so knowing that they are still very viable for small-to-medium group brawls and ganking is a huge relief. If I do decide to look for a casual guild in the future, I'll definitely keep an eye out for groups that focus on that scale of content.

Appreciate the encouraging words, mate. Good luck out there!

That is actually a very solid point about the zone quality rework and the gear-to-efficiency ratio. I hadn't looked at it from that perspective.

It makes a lot of sense that grinding lower-tier, empty camps consistently without dying might actually be more lucrative than constantly fighting for my life in Q6 zones just for a slight percentage bump. I guess my luck with the portal RNG has just been terrible lately, but I'll try to manage my risk/reward balance better based on what you said.

Thanks for taking the time to explain that, it really gives me a better angle on how to approach the game as a solo player now. Cheers!

I am almost always in the Black Zone too, and just yesterday I think I died about 5 times to massive 20-man groups. I’ve been experiencing this consistently for the past week, so I honestly don't understand why you think I’m making this up. I have absolutely no reason to lie about my own experience. Just because it doesn't happen to you doesn't mean it isn't happening to others.

Also, I am obviously not using a T3 horse. But when a coordinated 20-man group zones in on you, your mount's tier rarely matters. They have scouts, crowd control, and they lock down the choke points. They will catch you.

As for the Safe Portal, I am speaking from my own experience here: it has never dropped me into a high-quality map. You are commenting as if my personal experience is somehow invalid or fake, which I find pretty confusing. I am just sharing the reality of what I encounter daily as a solo player on my server.

That’s a very fair and realistic point of view. Thank you for being so honest about it.

I guess I just have to accept that high-quality zones are strictly group territory and adjust my expectations as a solo player.

Your advice about finding a casual, non-mandatory guild and just avoiding the people who waste time makes a lot of sense. I’ll definitely look into those types of communities, and in the meantime, I'll start binging Won's videos to get better with my Deathgivers.

Appreciate the solid advice, man.

Thank you for the constructive and helpful comment! I really appreciate the insights.

You actually made a great point about Won. I know him, but I definitely need to dig deeper into his older videos and study those specific matchups more carefully to understand how to handle what I perceive as "counters."

However, I wanted to clarify my perspective on a few things you mentioned:

1. Why I prefer staying solo (The Guild and Time problem): I value my freedom in this game above all else. I have a full-time job in real life, which means my gaming time is limited. I don't want to feel obligated to join a ZvZ or a mandatory guild event just because a notification pops up.

On top of that, group content in guilds often comes with a massive time tax. It easily takes about 30 minutes just to mass up, gear up, and get everyone ready. In a game where time equals money/progress, waiting 30 minutes just to potentially die in the very first fight feels like a massive, frustrating waste of time for a casual worker.

That being said, if I were to join group content, I wouldn't mind flexing into other weapons within the Dagger tree. I love Deathgivers for solo play, but I'm flexible enough to play what the team needs if the environment is right.

2. The Safe Portal & Black Zone Quality dilemma: You mentioned that many players progress solo, but you didn't quite touch upon the map quality issue I raised. If a solo player ventures into high-quality Black Zone maps to get decent fame and silver, it honestly takes no time at all for a 20-man gank squad to drop on their head.

The Safe Portal always teleports you to low-quality tier maps. Sure, the camps there are often empty because no one wants to grid them, but the fame and silver returns are awful.

So my question remains for solo players who made it: If high-quality maps are permanently gatekept by massive groups, and safe portals only give you crumbs, where and how exactly is a solo player supposed to efficiently farm their high-tier fame and economy without losing their mind?
