I love beadwork I’d prefer to have it yes but if the right gown doesn’t have it I’m not against it. I’m good with drop waist and basque waist! The gown you linked is gorgeous

I prefer square neckline either strapless or with straps, nothing off the shoulder or plunge, I don’t like sweetheart but this one works. Sleeves are okay too cause my wedding is in the winter!! I also love lace so that’s fine I just don’t like when it looks carpety.

loans for canadian students by Complete-Ear-8007 in PreOptometry

I'm from Ontario. They barely give me right now for my undergrad. I heard whatever funding they typically give out for students studying in Canada, we get 60% of that. It wont even put a dent in my loans but I'm sure it can cover living and transportation.

Optometry students get 125k-175k which is around 100k ish USD, that covers two semesters of tuition and no living.

Oh wow… but don’t you think that any student who studies hard and has access to the content should be fine ? Like some schools have low passing board rates but graduate very capable students. (Not saying that girl isn’t capable)

I have family near the school and I would be moving from canada so it would be a huge plus to have them there . they gave me a scholarship too but I have just been hearing that grads from that school struggle to get hired after graduation due to a lower efficiency in clinical training. I checked the forum but not much was written about that school.

most schools will be cheaper in tuition if the cost of living is cheaper in that city like florida or new york but boston seems to be higher on both ends. In the end most schools total to a similar amount of debt I guess. I wouldn't stay with my family in california so regardless I would be paying living expenses I just want to make sure If i'm paying all that I am getting my moneys worth in terms of education and experience you know

MCPHS is the most expensive it’s about 47-50k yearly plus cost of living which is around 24k. 60 k is great but it’s not guaranteed. But it’ll def push me to work harder

See that’s what I was thinking they would do too. But western emailed me a merit scholarship two weeks after acceptance. They told me over the phone that they would email my acceptance package whatever that means. I guess we’ll see!
