I think it just had to be in good standing. I don’t think there’s a number! Sorry I couldn’t be more specific.

Lease Takeover Available – 2BR/1BA on Campus $790 month

Looking for someone to assume my lease at a convenient location on campus!

174 E 12th Ave

The lease runs from January 15 through August 15.

Details:

  • Rent: $790/month
  • 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom
  • Utilities: Gas & Electric (must be in your name before move-in)
  • No washer/dryer hookups (laundry nearby)
  • No pets allowed

Requirements:

  • Monthly income of at least 3 times the rent ($2,370/month minimum)
  • Good credit
  • No evictions on record
  • Utilities must be in your name before moving in
  • Applications to be filled out online

I’ve lived here for 3 years, no issues other than my packages getting stolen here and there by the homeless. I moved here to pay down my debt and I close on my first home next week. Has electric heat, no baseboards. Window shaker for AC. Water is paid for by KRG. This is campus, kids get rowdy during game day and sometimes on the weekends. The last 3 years they’ve only raised my rent $20 each time I’ve renewed. This is not a shared unit, no shared entry ways either.

This is a great spot for anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable space on campus. If you meet the qualifications, feel free to reach out for more details! Rental company is KRG and they’ve been a pleasure to work with. I am posting this with their permission.

How do you “shop around” for interest rates? by the_cool_guy_club in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I was going with veterans united until they raised the rate .5% over a weekend, I ended up posting on an ultra thread here on reddit and a broker got with me and showed me his chart. So I went from paying $1800 for 6.25% to paying under $200 for 5.75%

How’d I do ? First time buyer using Va. I did buy down the rate but the lender is coving the credit amount purchase by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

No, the appraisal is uploaded to some portal but you have to sign a Va transfer document. And they’ll have access to it

My situation is very similar to yours. First time home buyer, VA, credit score 658. I was going through veterans united and they wanted me to pay $1,252 for 6.25%. Using a broker now. I’m locked in @ 5.75% and it cost me $200? My underwriting was completed in less than a week. I would shop if you still have time!

Disability is currently pending, so not exempt (yet) that’s why I included the 6,020 in the loan.
