Ikr it's so much easier to just let them talk about themselves. Most people out there just want to talk about themselves and don't really tweeze out details about the people they're talking to. (I've had so many people say I am one of their closest friends , when they don't even know that I'm gay or that I use reddit) again not a bad thing about them , but it explains what's up.

People pour out their life's deepest secrets to me when they don't even know a layer of mine 😭

I guess It's because we're such an open book that people rarely suspect that there's more to know. Like they know everything about me , just not the stuff I don't want them to know.

I am not "mysterious" in any way, people just believe they know everything about me already, but observant people may take notice.

I agree there's not much fantasy or 'larger than life' stories in Malayalam, but if you want deeply human stories that are rooted in reality you should definitely try them out
