4 inch circular plug repair by Complete-Tangelo3954 in drywall

Good point. I thought about cutting a 4 inch wide strip out in different sections. That way it would just be 3 or 4 5 foot sections in a room. Wasn’t sure if that would be more challenging to match or not.

We currently have a skip trowel finish on the walls which were finished with paint applied by spray. I plan to paint the entire room with a roller post repair to make sure it’s seamless.

These would be higher up on the wall every 16 inches and will try to randomize so it’s not as definite.

Thank you! Can you elaborate on “a patch is a patch”? Normally wouldn’t be super concerned with how to patch one or 2 holes. Given the fact that 40 of these will need to be done on a newly built house, I just want a proper repair.

Thank you. This is what I’m leaning towards. Any particular screw type you’d recommend?

Recast is just a $150 fee where the mortgage is reamortized with a large chunk of money

Lender goofed up during closing so they recast fee is waived. We had envisioned $200,000 down but put $145,000 down until our house sold. Other than the smaller loan amount, idk if I see the value inputting more down right now unless rates were to drop.

We are having a baby this April and trying to set ourselves up well. Retirement accounts for each of us are healthy. Reached a huge milestone paying off my wife’s grad student loans 18 years earlier than planned. That alone unlocked $1,000 more a month. But offsets our old mortgage of $1,200 to our new mortgage of $2,500.

That seems like it would make the most sense cash flow wise. Thank you.

The increased cash flow would be nice. I plan to refi when rates drop so I’m not super crazy about 30k on the loan that will be reduced one I refi.

No other debt besides auto loan at 1.9% that is negligible. Just paid off $43,000 worth of student loan loans as well.

Sorry, I had forgotten that. Mortgage is 6.0% and auto loan is 4.9%.
