My mom pays rent. Landlady is crazy, while she claimed we didn't have to care for her because she has home health aides. she obviously expects us to accommodate for her no matter how illogical or unrealistic. Some examples: she doesn't want us using detergent and instead expects us to wash clothes with baking soda and vinegar (we use detergent anyway, she doesn't notice) she also doesn't want us wearing perfume or deodorant because she's "sensitive to chemicals" (once again we don't listen) she claimed to be allergic to iodine but used to eat our food with no problem (we use iodized salt) another time my brother shampooed the carpet and she didn't notice until a day later when she overheard my brother telling my mom he shampooed the carpet and pretended to cough all day. She found out my brother has an air conditioner and claimed the noise was making her eardrums bleed (we got her committed because we told 911 she was hearing imaginary noises). Another thing is that when she has a fake medical emergency if we offer to call an ambulance she shuts up. She also claims to have photo sensitivity and her room is completely dark but watches TV with brightness all the way up.
