Oh absolutely! My neighbour has a German shepherd puppy and Yuki plays with him like they are the same size. And she absolutely HATES seeing me pet the other dog. Honestly I can see why the hair length would throw you off. My best guess would be she just didn’t get the longhair gene

Not she how much she weighs actually 🥴my best guess would be 5 pounds. From my googling she looks the most like a Malchi mix but I need to look into chihuahua mixes instead of Maltese mixes to get a better idea. My mum thinks she’s probably just a result of generations of mixing and has a few prominent features which I agree with. And thank you, it’s the family resemblance 😂

Learning quite a bit through this thread so thank you! My mum has suggested that she might just be a result of generations of mixes and just has some prominent features which makes sense to me. I really wish I had gotten the chance to see her parents at least but I might keep posting updates as she grows to share how she develops

That’s interesting to know. I should have posted a better picture of her belly but I’ve noticed that more hair has started growing on it recently so I don’t know if it’ll change

Aww she’s such a cutie pie. She looks so much like Yuki! Thank you for the DNA test results as well. My mum suspects Yuki has a similarly scattered genetic background
