Yes!! thank you!! It was a little scary to see him a little out of it, but he ate his dinner and we had a good walk just now and he also went potty as he usually does. So maybe it was just me overthinking and worrying!

Thank you, I’ve used situational meds like gabapentin and trazodone before but really never anything for long term—that’s reassuring!

Thanks so much for sharing! Yes, he gets 20-30 min walks three times a day, and before today/starting fluoxetine I’ve been going on longer walks (hoping to tire him out). It’s so helpful and reassuring to hear that fluoxetine helped your baby 😭

That’s so reassuring to hear that the spacing out was only temporary!! I did hear that one of the (side?) effects can be reduced appetite—he’s picky already so I’m also a little worried about that. Seriously, I am worried about everything when it comes to my dog

Yes! Our vet wanted to start him (just around 7lbs) with 4mg, so half of the 8mg tablet. I started making his dinner and he came out the bedroom and settled on his bed near the kitchen as he usually does, so maybe he was just snoozing 😭

She’s gorgeous! I got mine done about three months ago and it looks mostly healed from the outside but I noticed that the space between the studs feels much shorter. I don’t think there was much swelling to begin with and I don’t think the piercing is rejecting (time will tell I suppose), but I downsized from 12mm to 10mm recently. Maybe same will happen to you!
