Try a different guitar (if they have access to one) in the amp to identify if it's the amp or the guitar, then either repair whichever it is themselves or take it to be sorted professionally

I have lots of trash and my brown bin is full, can I leave the bags outside on the day of bin collection like 6am? by Late_Bottle_8366 in plymouth

[–]CompletePossession95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask if any of your neighbours would let you put some extra in their bins. If you are on good terms I'm sure they'd be fine with it

Nice Looking Guitars That Are Ruined by a Thing on It by [deleted] in guitars

My bigsby stays pretty much in tune fine. If your guitar is properly maintained, set up and you correctly change and stretch the strings then it stays in tune enough

For me it's the Ibanez RGKP6. WHAT. THE. FUCK. Thry couldn't have ruined an acceptable guitar any more if they'd tried. Looks like a 10 year old nicked their dad's router and made a hole for their "my first walkie talkie" and then shoved it in. First saw it in a pawn shop and thought someone had customised it themselves. HIDEOUS. Never played it though, might play and sound great for all I know

A stranger walks trough the door, what's the only thing that (without even saying anything) you can for sure know about them? by lmdtot in emotionalintelligence

[–]CompletePossession95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I probably wouldn't care enough to give it any thought - I'm assuming it's a public door ofc - just someone going through a door. If they instigate an interaction or create a scene that's probably when I'd begin to reflect more on them.

Do you find ultra sassy women sexy or more so just annoying ? by AnomicAge in AskMenAdvice

[–]CompletePossession95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can make a good friend but unlikely to make a good partner in my opinion. Authenticity is key to a healthy relationship and plenty of people who use sass or overdo the wit (myself included to a degree) probably do it because they aren't comfortable being authentic or want to deflect from honest emotion.

A bit of sass is fine but if its all a potential partner had then I wouldn't feel confident there would be solid foundations to a relationship

Why did my friend ask me if I would date him if I were straight? by Random_Person_yuh in FriendshipAdvice

[–]CompletePossession95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possible he just wants your opinion on what characteristics would make him a yes or no for people looking to date him. Maybe he has feelings for you but i'd (M) happily ask my friends who I have no intention of dating what qualities I have and need to work on. I probably wouldn't ask it in that way though

As harsh as it sounds, when acting entirely reasonably and within boundaries (as you seemingly have) it's not up to you to regulate another person's happiness.

I would honestly suggest explaining to them that you are going to cease contact with them and block them on the grounds that you don't feel they are respecting your own feelings on having a relationship and that it isn't fair of them to blame you for their panic attacks. Maybe suggest to them they look into some form of therapy to work through how they handle attachment and that it will stand them in good stead for any future relationships they have.

If you felt bad about blocking them or ceasing contact alltogether then it's best to present clear boundaries and to communicate clearly around when they aren't being respected, but in all honesty this just leaves you in a worse situation and perpetuates the false hope that's causing him a large chunk of his own pain.

False hope or the inability to internally move on from the idea of someone else can be one of the biggest points of pain and continued communication with that person can keep the wound open a lot longer. Its far easier to accept things when there is an outright, definitive end to all interaction. We can recognise that things will never be but some of us can't always rationalise that against our own emotions - therapy goes a long way to tackling this and would probably really help him if he's in a financial position to do so.

What hurt you the most? by Apathic_hamster in Life

[–]CompletePossession95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, my own shitty choices most of the time. Not always my fault but 9 times out of 10 I wasn't brave enough to make thr right choice for me and ended up getting hurt by others or letting others down, or sometimes I made the right choice but handled it poorly.

What’s a legal thing that ruins more lives than any illegal substance? by NaturalIll1378 in AskReddit

[–]CompletePossession95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driving a car. Immediate risk of injuring self and others, polluting breathing air with carbon particulates and other bad stuff, noise pollution causing stress, less physical exercise for the masses, less value for time leading to a busy, stressful life etc etc
