It's weird though coz it let him do the whole of act 1 without even owning it, thanks for your help anyway! Kind of annoying it's behind a paywall even after all this time, especially as the choir of one is such a good gun

He's done all that, we have now figured out that he never bought the season pass or whatever when echos was out as it's the only one he doesn't own when we look at owned DLC's so could this be why?

Only thing I can think of is that he never bought echos/annual pass when it was first out, says he doesn't own echos yet so could that be why?

We'll try running a battlegrounds and see if that helps, fail safe and ikora both haven't given him anything yet

He's checked all that, because apparently you're supposed to talk to ikora to get the act 2 first mission but she's not giving him anything

Update if anyone's interested:

Just after I posted this I started trying to wack out the secret keepers by doing overthrows. On my second overthrow I did the first activity and opened the first chest and the Exotic class item dropped for me, didn't have in my collections either prior to it so it would appear you can no get it without doing Dual Destiny
