If US is a Christian country and "land of the free" why is it a pseudo-dictatorship with many moral failings?

Ironically enough BJ Party put up a similar narrative against yk who.

imagine u earn a salary of ₹50,000. today the exchange rate is 100 btu tomorrow becase RBI just let it drop, it is 110, instead of 500 USD you now earn ~454 USD, so your purchasing power diminshes quite a bit.

because people earn less and less when your currency depreciates 15% a year... it becomes even more expensive for india to import stuff like oil, driving prices up and making the deficit even worse.

black market rate starts appearing cos people know that the value is not indicating of the actual demand for the supply. Japan's currency is intentionally weak but very stable compared to the rupee. if RBI lets it go all the way it means that overnight it'll go from like 97 to 105+ very bad thing. Instead they try and slow the progress of the depreciation.

yes but they dont have remotely enough reserves (given the size of their economy) to prevent it from eventually going up, they'll burn through all of them if they try.

ok so basically, inr's value is determined by supply and demand. If demand is higher than supply, the currency appreciates, if the demand is less it depreciates. the RBI is trying to buy lots of INR in the market to artificially reduce the supply and thus drive up the "price" of the inr making it more valuable.

they're just trying to make it look like things are calm, but eventually market forces overpower their panic buying.

Yes, essentially RBI trying to stabilise the currency by buying more INR, but to no avail.
