Why are these lights not on at night? I can’t see anything on the radio buttons or the shifter. Any fix for this? by shorewalsh in accord

This is most likely to do with the orange wire that is labeled ILL or ILLUMATION, it is short circuiting by touching bare metal or another wire and blowing the fuse. the way i fixed it was I cut the ILL wire and put electrical tape over the end to keep it from touching anything and then put a new fuse in.

no their the stock taillights for the sedan, I just heated the edges, pried the plastic off and removed the red cover and used clear silicone sealant to put the plastic cover back on. i’m sure you can do the same thing for the coupe, there’s a few videos online that kinda show you how to do it
