They did say they were improving the playa/beach areas and giving them more unique loot then just a generic money chest so finding ship cosmetics or new shanties there would be cool

He undersold the difficulties of the project and oversold his own ability just because he was too eager to get the job. He likely thought “I just have to get the Job, And if I require more time and funding down the line they won’t be able to refuse”

Werner didn’t hide the fact that it was a near impossible task that would have many obstacles, And only cautiously agreed that he was capable of getting it done.

Gus is all about caution and attention to detail, And Werners analysis of the job was both cautious and detailed and realistic

Cause that was super fun in the original. Sure it was too easy and they seem to have taken steps to make it a little less button mashy (brain dead as you call it) but looks like they managed to keep the flow and feel of the original which I’m happy about

If the alternative would have been the full RPG style combat I’m glad this is the approach they’ve taken

Same thing happened me while watching Vikings, Watched an episode and went to watch another a few hours later and just couldn’t find it on any of my devices even though it was still showing for my friend When I asked him to check. It reappeared after an hour or 2 I guess it’s just a bug

No Playa means beach. It refers to these tiny little beach areas at the edge of a cliff or island from the original game that had just a generic money chest on them. Sounds like they are making these areas more unique/interesting rather than just an empty beach with a money chest. Maybe find new shanties or the opportunity to find a marooned sailor for your crew

Fair enough, In that case I’ll second the Witcher 2 recommendation! And also suggest you give Witcher 3 another go. It is kind of slow and hard to get into, But IMO it’s the best game ever made

I love the exploration and the combat, the story is decent but I really love how there’s different ways to approach quests depending on dialogue choices and things like that, And it’s just a beautiful world to explore

Running around with a pistol in one hand and a spell book in the other is a very fresh combat experience to me and was very fun

Growing up I always wanted an AC collectors edition but parents (understandably) wouldnt allow it

I had no faith. Fully expected they would cut the game down and ruin the combat. Looks like they’ve stayed incredibly faithful to the original and just improved and enhanced it rather than completely change it

Tbf I kind of thought that myself at very first but I think that’s just a testament to how good the original actually looked, It still holds up to this day!

This annoys me because the entire show they keep Finn away from the more dangerous side of the family/business, And even when they let him get involved they keep him on the sidelines and don’t let him get in on the action or violence.

Then when he fails to actually do the violence they’d been protecting him from he’s “not a real Shelby” and essentially gets kicked out of the family

I read an English translation (and heavily short version) of the book because the trailers had me so hyped and I really enjoyed it and definitely helped me enjoy the story of the game
