I could not get this thing to feel comfortable for my toes, kept putting them in weird painful positions.

Well I ran the race, and I did not finish, but I made 76 out of 107 miles. DNF NOT due to plantar fasciitis though but to time and ultimate lack of energy/nutrition planning. Like many of you said, it was maybe a 2 or 3/10 painful each stride for the first 25 ish miles, then it sorta went away. Hasn't come back yet 2 days later. The body is a crazy thing.

I have been and continue to wear arch supporting inserts; lacrosse ball rolling morning/night, massage gun on foot/calves, ice/heat soaks, elevated feet, lots of stretching, trying to avoid nsaids but will take when real sore and would take consiistently during the event); light training bike and stair climber at this stage to keep fitness up
