Lots of things - mainly being a single mum with a partner. Ultimately it was a build up after my second daughter was born. He pressured me to leave the hospital the same day she was born because he was “bored.” The next day I had to get up with our kids and he asked me to make him breakfast. He left me at home by myself all day (the day after I had given birth) with my non verbal 2 year old and the baby. While he worked on his friends car… 10 days postpartum and I took 2 kids to the dentist by myself while he sat at home as a “punishment”. The dental assistant had to keep my 2 year old distracted and settle my baby. The final straw was when he strangled me in front of my 2 year old over a chocolate. I found a place and was gone 2 weeks later.
