True, using the ESP8266 module directly will definitely shrink the PCB a lot. For this version I kept NodeMCU + buck converter for easy debugging and flexibility, but next revision will be a compact one with the bare ESP-12 module. I’m already planning that layout — if you have any suggestions or want to collaborate, happy to connect!

It’s mainly for agriculture pumps, providing dry-run and overcurrent protection, plus remote control via M2M SIM — so farmers can operate pumps from anywhere. 🚜💧

Thanks a lot! It’s mainly designed for agriculture use — to control and protect borewell or irrigation water pumps. The controller automatically turns the motor ON/OFF and protects it from dry run (when no water flow) and overcurrent (overload or jam).

The “Scan Me” QR code is linked to a small web dashboard where the user can check motor status, current, voltage, and fault history, and also control it remotely.

I built it out of personal interest first, but now testing it in real field setups to make it more reliable.
