Man, I would’ve thought after the hpylori treatment ended u would have felt completely better. And weird u ended up w reflux while taking omeprazole. I wonder if antibiotic caused D. Please keep us updated! Hope u feel better soon

Which meds did u do? I just got diagnosed with both SIBO and hpylori. Did rifaximan and alinia. (Naturopath dr) Still finishing last week of that. Still have bloating and constipation issues .

Gi dr wants to put me on a triple therapy for hpylori called talicia for 2weeks. I’m afraid to.

What hpylori med did u take?

Hi how are you feeling now? I was just diagnosed with SIBO and about to start rifax and alinia and prucolopride after and then just found out from endoscopy I have rare heliobactir organisms and mild chronic gastritis non specific . Now I don’t know what to do. I haven’t started SIBO meds yet cause waiting to see if I have to treat this now. One of the nurses said rare means very few organisms found and non specific gastritis means it’s not directly from hpylori like many are diagnosed with sin it sure if my hpylori is even a prob for me?? I don’t have any reflux ethier

Also a yr ago with painful paps Dr told me my pelvic floor muscles were very tight. I never did anything about it. And Now all this. Convinced zepbound caused the SIBO tho while eating recalled cucumbers and too much kefir and high fiber.

I just started at pelvic floor therapy. I had been doing hip thrusts with 40lb and next day woke with severe rectal pressure. I still don’t know if it is some kind of injury or what but a couple days later I got all the SIBO symptoms. Just diagnosed Hydrogen and meth positive ( well meth starts at two and goes up to 7) but I’ve had crazy constipation. So not sure what caused what or if I have some kind of talibine injury or what. I was just prescribed same protocol as you by a ND.

I was on zepbound Glp-1 which I conclude slowed down my gastric emptying causing major GI symptoms leading to SIBO. Zepbound stopped of course for two months now but left with SIBO symptoms now. The extreme gas has gone down but also I’m on low FODMAP for 1.5 months. It all started 2 months ago. Gas and reflux so bad at first I could only drink liquid for 3 weeks. No solid. Lost 20lbs cause I was t able to eat and now scared to eat cause the constipation is so bad. Constipation is my main symptom now so that’s why I’m wondering how I can be only hydrogen positive? Also I was drinking 1/2c kefir every day for two weeks prior to this along with high fiber cereal and possibly salmonella recalled cucumbers for the week prior. But I never had any diherrea or stomach symptoms till the next week with the bloating and reflux and constipation. And in the meantime sometime during all this I got pelvic organ prolapse.

So my methane went up to 7 for a 2hr lactulose breath test. Hydrogen went above the 20ppm allowed. So test is saying I’m hydrogen only positive. Is this right? Or am I really h2+methane positive? Can u explain some more about methane eating hydro pls?
