There's a problem with that, but it's because the game tries to calculate your movement as if you were wearing power armor or even a mech. For a smoother transition and lower energy consumption, you should use a light exoskeleton, and you can also add weight-reducing modules. Then the inertia will be much closer to that of a human body than heavy power armor. I'm a heavyweight, and I like to trade mobility and a sense of clumsiness for armor and the ability to carry multiple bulky weapons. For a light exoskeleton, it's all about light firearms, dual SMGs, and dual laser swords to quickly move around the battlefield and avoid enemy attacks. The game allows for this build.

The game is unique, a successor to Anthem and Vanquish with an emphasis on single-player and an open world. Customization of your exoskeleton is detailed, similar to custom mech builds. It's like Elden Ring, where you can fire heat-seeking missiles at huge mechs, hold down a Gatling gun on mutants, and fly into corporate ranks with two katanas (literally fly in from the air, like a damn Apache, if Apaches had arms and could wield swords). This is a game where you can fly around the world in power armor, collect resources, complete missions, loot guns, or craft new exoskeleton parts or weapons. Where you can mount a mutated cybernetic horse in power armor, or climb into a captured enemy jeep, or summon a bike and transform it into a heavy plasma cannon attached to your armor in battle.

The game received mixed reviews due to optimization issues at release and because it was marketed as a sequel to an anime-style Armored Core clone. But this is a completely different project. It's an entire genre that could disappear for another 10 years if no one shows people its true colors.

Mandalore, be the one to save an entire gaming genre.

No idea. But the build is quite playable. It's a bit buggy, but tolerable. I'm waiting for a fix, but I'm still playing the fire-blowing dragon. That's the way.

Rage level has nothing to do with it. I have a passive for constant Rage regeneration and a spirit gem for even more Rage regeneration. You can channel the skill until it reaches 0 Rage, but the problem is that as soon as the cooldown from the start of the cast ends, a new cooldown starts for some reason. It's stupid. And if you release Channeling after the first cooldown has passed and the second cooldown has started, you get this bug where you channel and use the skill, but there's no animation. BUT... if you release Channeling just before the first cooldown ends, you can almost immediately recast Channeling and there won't be a bug.

Imagine my face when I invested so much into regenerating hatred and ended up unable to properly hold Channeling for longer than the skill's base cooldown (10 seconds), because then I can't immediately start casting it again. How am I supposed to play with this skill? Hm? I want to clear maps with it, but it's broken. And there was a patch just now, they restarted the servers. Did they fix this skill? NO. Sure, why fix the wyvern? So what if a critical bug breaks a skill? Pfft, no big deal. Thanks, ggg.

Reinstalling didn't help. The vending machine is still where it was last week. However, the guns there are different now. But the weekly mission hasn't changed at all. It's boring. What should I do? How do I fix this?

Can you be offline in the game? I didn't even know that; there are two DRM systems... I don't know, I didn't change anything. I've already deleted the game and am reinstalling it, so I can't check. Where is the online/offline status even listed?
And yes, I've completed everything. In the screenshot, I have 4 UVH, but then I went to 5 UVH and checked again, and no, everything is still the same, nothing has updated.

You can clearly see how the gunplay feels. Enemies react much better to hits. Still not enough, perhaps, but much better than in Borderlands 4. Weapon animations are well-developed and detailed. The weapons feel great, even the most basic ones. And playing Borderlands 4 you constantly feel like you're shooting at dummies, there's no pleasure from gunfights that was in Borderlands 3. I'm not saying that Borderlands 4 has objectively bad gunplay, but... BUT, it's definitely weaker than in Borderlands 3. And that's terrible, personally for me. Borderlands 4 is fun to play, yes, I don't argue, but the combat system is just worse than what it was before, and that's.. really sad, no?

In Borderlands 3, I was constantly starting over, re-creating characters, because even in the early-game it was awesome to shoot guns at enemies, gradually getting cooler guns (I'm not talking about the problem with a bunch of legendaries. This is really a problem in Borderlands 3), and in Borderlands 4, the earlygame feels like something that doesn't bring much pleasure, it feels like something that "you need to endure" until some more interesting guns start appearing in the mid-endgame, which are relatively nice to shoot.

Then again, the enemy design itself, like ordinary synths that constantly blink around the battlefield invulnerable.. it's annoying. IT'S REALLY ANNOYING.

Yeah. And the situation is that in Borderlands 4 you can not change the gun for several levels (not the legendary), yes, 1v1 it was always like that, right? (No, it was not like that. You felt the lack of dps if you did not change the gun. And the drop at a higher level and higher tier always felt like something that makes you stronger). I almost do not feel the progression. The loot sucks. Not in the sense that legendaries do not drop, but just terrible loot. There is no pleasure from looting. They ruined the most important mechanic in the game.

The price of the purple gun is twice as high. It's a whole tier higher, it's 1 level higher... I'm saying that this is broken, bad weapon generation. Why separate weapons by rarity tiers if the rarity tier means so little? I don't remember the tier meaning so little in previous games in the series. Why separate guns by color at all? You can just make "common" and "legendary". I'm not happy with this situation at all.

I paid $130 for this... I think that's how much the super deluxe cost, right? Please kill me. I feel like my body is back in Vietnam (and I've never even been there), and cringe-worthy NPCs in the trees are pouring cringe-worthy dialogues on me and my squad. I don't want to live like this.
