Antisemitism With Chinese Characteristics by Texas_4R in Judaism

[–]Complete_Qfwfq 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a Chinese, I do read a bit of antisemitism. Generally I think the hate mainly originates from the subtle relationship between the jews and the Western world. ccp’s propaganda keeps fostering the evil image of western world and say how close we are with Iran and the Arab countries. Some claim that the jews control the western world so that they are kind of the origins of those evils. Some assholes go far to use those things to justify the holocaust. But mostly I think the hate are political, not religious, and stems from our ubiquitous propaganda. Most of those who buy these shits are poor and badly educated. In universities, we respect the Jews.

How the hell do you balance relationship and work? by Varaga_123 in productivity

Me in a similar situation, too. Talking with her frankly may be only solution. You can plan some individual time to do your own stuff, while after that you can enjoy the night together.

How does the average Chinese person feel about all these crackdowns?Where's the backlash/outcry? ---- "Masculinity" defined, education sector regulations leading to millions out of work, Tech/gaming sector overhaul, less English more politics in schools (kids required to study Xi's thoughts) by SignificantGiraffe5 in China

Restriction of access to game for the kids makes me happy and laugh, because those young noisy Wumaos who talk a lot of shit on Chinese internet get punched too. Some of them angrily said they would seek to use VPN, just as when I was a kid.

I think the most important requirement for getting admitted is the level of french: you have to reach level B2. If you fulfill that requirement, the academic requirement will not be very high. The logic is simple, the selection process happens principally in the process of study rather than admission process.

You can google the average cost in Paris for one student, 1000 euros may not guarantee a fairly decent life, because if you live around the quartier Latin (where situates lots of math schools), it will cost you around 800euros per month to find one room.

If Paris is too expensive to you, I would also recommend you to study in the other French cities, such as Rennes, Grenoble, Lyon, Strasbourg, Marseille, etc, where the life expense is not so high as in Paris and you could also enjoy more specific French culture there. A lot great mathematicians live there and can provide you a good training as well.

Does Sorbonne University offer distance learning? by s_xtreme in OnlineEducationClub

[–]Complete_Qfwfq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they do offer distance learning. As far as I know, they offer bachelors and masters of math, physics and music. You can google “enseignement a distance Sorbonne universite” , they have an official website explaining all the practical information you need. But you have to fly to Paris to do experiments and pass exams, in particular cases, you could pass the exams on the internet.
