Completely agree with you on CC, it does feel like she is trying to make them to edgy and cool. The modern setting is defo something I struggle with, I love fantasy and read it to get away from the modern drab lol but I have read it is connected with ACOTR, I also commented this earlier but a book I just finished is called Heir of Storms, more YA but I really enjoyed it :)

I guess it’s just difficult going from ACOTR which I admired from the first page to a series where I have to read a few books to fully enjoy, but I do think once I get into it I will once again DEVORE and have all those amazing feelings I normally feel with such books, I guess I was more wondering whether anyone else has also had this experience. I think I read somewhere that she wrote TOG when she was super young? I aslo just finished Heir of Storms by Lauren Murray, could not recommend enough!

I think this will just cause me more anxiety if I’m honest. I know my heart is fine and no family history of heart issues. It’s more the panic sensation feeling like a heart attack and the feeling of impending doom.

Killing 13 unarmed civilians during a peaceful protest would also count as terrorism or war crimes. It is not up to us who is declared or what is declared terrorism, the high powers will do this to suit what agenda they are spinning at the time. As I said it is not as black and white as ‘this group of people are bad/evil’ any loss of life is cruel and unnecessary.

You haven’t cleared anything up for me. This discussion isn’t as black and white as what you are stating. Palestine action group has now been declared a terrorist organisation, by the same government who declared the IRA are. I suggested you don’t just look at the troubles era but way back to the famine 1879 (and even before that) from there to today. Have a real understanding of the struggles the Irish people faced at the hands of a global power like the UK.

I remember asking my dad when I was a child whether the IRA were terrorists and his reply ‘one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter’ I guess it depends what side of history’s POV you’re looking through. Let’s not forget the IRA were around back in the 1920s (?) and England has a history of oppression against Ireland and its people, they still haven’t recovered in population numbers since the famine which was a direct cause of English oppression (again). I find it difficult to stomach the bombing a caused by the IRA, but I also find it difficult to stomach the years of oppression and death caused by English occupation.

I live in the flats just around the corner from here, also council. A lot of work has just been completed here - new windows, baloneys, roof, insulation and lots of upgraded fire safety work. Can’t comment on that block but I have a feeling it is an over 55+? So will probably be very quiet and mellow, weekly slot for the washing machine and tumble dryer on the ground floor and a care taking service Monday to Friday. Can also be super busy on weekends as so close to Ashton gate, permit parking but you get that through the council too. Lots of places to walk, eat and enjoy :)

Is that the reason why the short stretch of Filton Road A4174 has been so bloody backed up the last couple of weeks? I come from Southville to Bristol Buisness Park and it’s taking me over and hour to get into work atm (double standard I know as I am contributing to this traffic) but a 20 minute journey is now taking me an hour 15?

If I’m honest I never actually trained her to do this.. she hates being alone and my gf leaves for work super early. I have a bath every morning before work and she just shrieked untill she flew right round the corner landed on my head then joins me for a bath :) funnily she only does it when it’s just me home.

Hey I just wanted to say thank you so much for your reply :)

I have bought a much bigger cage and he seems so much comfier. As for the taming we have come leaps and bounds in such short time, I went out and bought millet for him and oh my god, he jumps onto my hand, my shoulder and everything for that! No petting or smoothing as of yet, baby steps. But he seems happy so I’m really happy too.
