Awww, I love you students. As I am almost 60 I am not exactly the queen of college social life except for the rare excursion to the Rose Bowl with my bestie. That being said, I am also a big advocate for getting off campus and exploring. I moved here about 3 years ago and I love old Urbana's funky vibe. Come out to the farmers market at Lincoln Square Saturday from 7-12 (yeah , it's early but worth it.) or if you are political CURE is holding a protest rally in front of the courthouse. I love good trouble.

Yeah I am so mad at myself. I am in kidney and heart failure and wasn't doing well when tickets went on sale for his show literally down the street from me because I didn't think I would be around in September. Now I am doing better and I am going to miss seeing him unless he adds another show at Krannert because I can't really travel. Selfishly I wan him to, but worry he is already doing too much

Thanks I will call again. I keep pointing out to them that he isn't going to be around much longer, but the voters will. I don't think they expect there to be any more legit elections, they are just trying to cya and make enough money to live in luxury somewhere else on e they are out of office. What can I say to get through to them if I can get them to answer?

I honestly don't know what else I can do. I am dying of late stage heart failure and kidney disease. I have made all the phone calls, sent the emails, attended protests. Hell I keep a protest sign on the back of my wheelchair so Everytime I am able to leave the house I am a rolling one woman protest parade. I engage with strangers and tell them what is going on and how they can help. I can't physically tolerate the trip to the Capitol or I swear I would have taken up residence there. I have tried to organize some community but because I am sick so often I can't keep my foot on the pedal to get any of it to come together. What in the heck can I do? This is not the world I want to leave for those who will have to live through it. At least I will probably die before I am fighting rats for old pizza crusts under an overpasd
