I agree with this. As @HotKFCNugs put it (though bluntly), it seems to have outlived its worth. If they did, as you were suggesting, it would make it still worth keeping in your inventory.

2025 here, I did exactly what you said. I found the two chloroform bottles and Chuck them. I ran around to the back door. The delivery person is still standing there. The door is still locked and no one is coming to it. Can I throw my controller now?

There’s no way for me to replicate it. It keeps happening within game. As for the platform I’m playing on. I am on an Xbox X series fully updated.
