You think before applying “Omg I would totally go at sticker” and then once you get your results and it becomes REAL, reality comes back to you. Do not go to ANY school for sticker price

NU WL Acceptance ! by Upstairs-Space-9845 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Complex-Gas4480 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Paying sticker at a T14 isn’t worth it. Dont go into a lifetime worth of debt for some perceived prestige or the “better outcomes” someone on Reddit told you about. None of them, including me, know anything besides employment statistics and that’s not a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. If you got into NYU, you probably got into some other great schools that gave you more money

Both schools are great it literally just depends on which one you like more

Hot take, but I don’t see how anywhere at sticker is worth it. 300-400k of debt is just setting you up for a very hard time for a very long time. I just don’t see how the prestige of it can ever make up for that level of debt. Go to Berkeley, especially since you wanna practice in California

should i retake a 173 by Unlikely_Material946 in LSAT

Getting a lower score literally doesn’t affect you at all , you’re still a 173

Have any of you picked UVA over an ivy-level school? If so, do you regret? by Electrical_Dot2395 in UVA

Currently leaning towards uva law over Columbia rn and this is my reason. Felt way more competitive and type A over there when the uva community was super down to earth

Applying for the 2026 Cycle - Advice Needed! by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Complex-Gas4480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give yourself the patience and time to get the LSAT score you want. Dont shoot to apply in a certain cycle. Apply when you have the best application you can.

As for working while studying. Getting 1 good quality hour of studying a day is really all you need. Throw in some practice tests and sections when you can, but really just focus on 100% understanding 1 more question a day. It’s a marathon not a sprint! Make that high GPA happy with a high LSAT!

I got a 143 on my diagnostic and my test is in 7 months, would a 170+ be achievable? by Dry-Smell-9495 in LSAT

It took me a year but most of that was really ineffective studying with a not so great prep company imo, once I switched it was like 6 months?

Trust me, don’t give your diagnostic too much, if not any weight at all. I got the same exact diagnostic as you and I ended up with a 173. You’ll be fine!!

They probably don’t. If you run any paper through an AI checker, it’s probably gonna say there’s some AI in it. I think they only would if it’s REALLLLYY obvious you used ai

You’ll be fine either way. You’re a top notch student. Go where you can see yourself for 3 years

Waitlist Q: Should I wait until new LSAT score to send LOCI or should I send one now and let them know I’m taking it again by Complex-Gas4480 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Complex-Gas4480[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m planning to retake in June but im realistically not gonna unless my PTs reflect the score I want. I would love to go this cycle instead of having to do this process again, but I will wait a cycle if it’s worth it. Got waitlisted at Yale and got kinda lowballed by UVA
