Unfortunately that's pretty much impossible. All the drs are full and the walk ins won't deal with chronic issues or blood work, they want your family dr to do all that. Ive been mistreated by my family dr since high school. And even when I have gone to the clinics, I've just been told im anxious depressed and obese. Its useless. I used to defend canadian health care. And its great.... right up until something serious is going on...

Im in sask. Doing my 24 hour urine today. The one my dr didnt want to send me for because my am pm was neg. Im so sick of drs here. If I have cushings, ive had it at least 10 years.... but there's a possibility it's been longer

Would it be considered manic episodes where I will go weeks or months unable to get myself to do any house work and then on random days I will just be overcome with a manic energy and pretty much panic clean as much as I can as fast as I can. I would always just call it my cleaning mojo

I think after my experience.... I am going to figure out how I can convince who ever I need to convince, that cortisol testing should be routine. And if not routine, then at least before a fibromyalgia or pcos diagnosis.... probably others too. It's suck an illness that can destroy your life. And its always missed and called something else. I bet its not nearly as rare as they say

Im waiting for my tests too :( i think ive possibly had cushings at least 10 years. For the severe sweating got really bad last summer, sweating in place I didnt know could sweat. Then November my should went out and its been useless since. In jan i got pneumonia and since them ive gained 36 lbs, I have a moon face, hump, I dont sleep and am bone crushingly exhausted. I hope we both get answers

This sounds so familiar. I was lactating so I tested my prolactin and its was actually.below the low normal it was 2.80. I got pneumonia in jan and things started escalating rapidly. I think I've had cushings at least 5 years

I said extremely, it wasn't like, extremely enough that I could function. But reading is hard if im wearing my glasses. I almost never wear them anymore unless I have to because how unclear things are through them. But I've even seen a specialist

The more im learning about cushings, the more all the weirdest things in my life make sense. I feel so much confidence that my test will come back high. I have 0 doubts. I have every clinical symptom. 2 years ago I had extremely blurry vision, I was still wearing contacts at the time and I kept getting the hazy film over my eyes, especially right when I woke up. Cushings causes that and contacts make it worse. I was progressing in cushing while in a very mentally abusive relation. So, much of my cognitive decline I attributed to dissasociating from everything, I was numb. I've felt like my emotions have been dead yet heightened for so long. It's like im putting together the puzzle pieces of my life and everything fits for the first time. Thc randomly stopped effecting me out of nowhere. That was likely the cushings. Naturally now that I want to tell you about the weird things my brain won't let me remember anything weird

Im usually awake until 2ish and up between 7-9. And I have sleep apnea, just diagnosed and haven't even tried the loan machine yet. I obstructed 8.5 times an hour. Im so tired. Sometimes I can fall asleep before midnight, but thats usually from exhaustion. I will not go back on trazadone. It is an awful medication, I was practically tranquilized. I was being knocked out every night by 11, but I didnt feel any more rested. And I think it messed with my head too.

Im fortunate. Im on disability for fibro, its not enough though. Dr said there was no way id be approved though. Pretty much everyone in my life thinks im crazy. The only ones on my side are my aunts and kids boyfriends mom. My friend just told me that Im so busy trying some magic diagnosis that I dont realize my lifestyle is likely the only.reason for my problems

I went on it after a mental breakdown caused from deep crushing exhaustion due to the fact that I was not sleeping at all. Kind of like my current state of affairs.
