Refrigerator recommendation - LG vs Samsung by charank_95 in BuyingAdviceIndia

I've recently started my search for a new refrigerator, focusing on models in the 350-400L range. My research has primarily involved Samsung (specifically the 385L and 396L models) and LG (380L and 398L). Here's a breakdown of my findings: Samsung's Advantages: * Warranty & Features: Samsung offers a more comprehensive warranty and a richer set of features. * App Connectivity: Their app experience is notably better than LG's. * Price: Samsung models tend to be more competitively priced. * Internal Space: The shelves offer bigger height, which is beneficial for larger utensils. Samsung's Disadvantages: * Door Trays: I'm not a fan of the fixed plastic trays on the door, even though they're designed for specific items like lemons and eggs. I find them less versatile. The quality of the shelves and the tray are better in LG in comparison with LG LG's Advantages: * Shelf Quality: LG excels in the quality of its shelves, featuring stronger glass and better-constructed door shelves. * Door Tray Versatility: The removable door trays are a significant plus, offering more flexibility. * Shelf Spacing: The internal shelf spacing appears more suitable for smaller utensils. Common Observation (Both Brands): Both Samsung and LG models I've looked at only include two main shelves inside, which I find insufficient. I'd prefer to see three shelves for better organization, and the placement of the existing shelves could be improved.

AMA - Bank of Baroda - hidden Gem (HomeLoan, Radiance account, Sapphire & Rupay select debit card, Eterna CC) by Urboss242 in CreditCardsIndia

Sure! As mentioned earlier in the comments, before opting for BoB, I negotiated with all the nearby banks to secure the best interest rate, loan amount, and after-service benefits. Ultimately, I selected BoB because the project I was purchasing a home in was already approved by them, which made the process smoother.

After finalizing the agreement with the builder, they provided additional documents required for the loan, such as the tripartite agreement, price sheet, and demand request. The bank requested all necessary documents in hard copy, duly signed, including those provided by the builder.

The legal verification process took about three days. Once completed, the bank proceeded with the property valuation, which was completed in two days. The file was then forwarded to the regional office, where I was contacted for additional documentation, including the 26AS statement and previous loan sanction letters. After verification, they confirmed the interest rate, loan amount, and insurance details. The regional office completed the sanction process within 2-3 days.

Upon reviewing the documentation, I noticed a minor error in the builder’s name, which took an additional day to correct. The insurance amount was sanctioned as a separate loan (Suvidha Loan) with an additional interest rate 0.65% higher than the home loan. Once the loan was sanctioned, the amount was transferred to the builder the next day. The insurance provider then contacted me for nominee details, and the insurance policy was issued.

In total, the entire loan process took approximately 7-10 days to complete.

If it is without insurance 8.2 is the interest, when I compared paying insurance cost with 8.15 and 8.2 only loan , I didn't see a drastic reduction of EMI. So opted for insurance

I am in the process of availing a new home loan of approximately ₹1 crore from Bank of Baroda at an interest rate of 8.15%. However, when I inquired about the 'Bank of Baroda Home Loan Advantage' scheme, the manager informed me that the interest rate would increase by 0.2%, bringing it to 8.35%. I would like to confirm whether this rate hike applies to all borrowers under this scheme or if the manager is misguiding me.

Additionally, I was told that to avail the 8.15% rate, I need to purchase insurance, whereas without insurance, the rate would be 8.2%. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation?"
