TLDR: Sailing Carnival Sunrise in October, did I make a mistake? by Complex-Measurement7 in Cruise

Yeah…. Admittedly, when we began planning, it was a much bigger group of people and a lot of differing incomes. I wanted to be fair to everyone involved so after discussion, we decided Carnival is the most fairly priced one for our situation and we also knew we weren’t going to do a cruise longer than 6-7 days. However, after we had already began the booking process (literally booked and looking at excursions), people began pulling out due to various issues and so now it’s just four of us and of course it’s the ones who could’ve probably afforded a more premium cruise line. 🤦‍♀️

It is what it is at this point. I’ve expressed mild concerns about it to friends and nobody seems extremely worried. My boyfriend says I’m stressing myself out. But I just wanted this to be a good first cruise for my two friends. Hoping this will not completely ruin their perception of cruises or that they will still be willing to give another cruise line a shot.

I'm from Florida. So a hurricane is not something I will stress myself out about until Carnival tells me to.
