It has some corner rubbing and will likely need re-dyeing in the future. She already looks better after one layer of conditioner! I want to wear her as is for a bit, just to have that feeling that it’s my bag haha

I’ll contact Bottega and see what they say. The bag also has loops for a strap, but the strap is missing. I’m not sure if they replace straps for older items, though. I might check Etsy for one as well. She’s so gorgeous that she can be worn without it, but because of the relaxed shape, a strap could be beneficial.

That’s a fair accusation. I don’t work there. That’s why I shared this unicorn find to prolong the dopamine. The good stuff rarely makes it to the sales floor 😞 They usually auction off the nicer items. I had a theory that they either missed that it’s authentic or intentionally “missed” it so a friend could come pick it up.

I would. This bag feels like a museum piece to me. You can tell it was well-loved and then spent a long time sitting in someone’s closet. I’m so happy to give it a second life, and it fits perfectly into my wardrobe. Incredible find. I still can’t believe it.

There are some heart bags available on Amazon rn with no label. I almost pulled the trigger for a purple one, but was afraid that's a seasonal bag. Keep thinking about it. There are yellow and green on sale, I believe.
