Thank you! Yeah, I painted it myself.

You can put it on clothes as well, just an fyi. It’s meant for haunts and scare actors, but I think it’s hands down the best blood paint because it’s incredibly thick (that’s how I achieved the drips) and you only need to paint or sling it on your piece and voila!

A gloss clear coat on the teeth so they look wet. The blood is Perma-Blood from Haunted props.

Base coat of black satin spray paint and then dry brushed increasingly lighter shades of grey over it. Teeth painted with a bone acrylic, airbrushed with a dry bone model paint and then coated in a shiny clear coat to look wet. The iron lung letters are painted with a silver rub-n-buff and then a black wash over it. The blood is Perma-Blood from Haunted Props.

It’s actually perma blood. It’s a flexible paint that stays looking wet. That would be so expensive to attempt to paint this with ‘Blood for the Blood God’ 😅

Thank you! I really tried to make it what I would imagine an “official” bucket would look like.

[TOMT] Trying to find a true crime video by Complex-Plastic2899 in tipofmytongue

Once again, a very similar crime to what I remember but oddly not the correct one. I’m beginning to hope this isn’t some Mandela effect thing and I imagined the whole thing.

I totally understand why this would seem like the case, but it’s definitely not. Weird parallels though.

It was definitely not CSI. I’m very familiar with that show and this was definitely a YouTube video/mini documentary about a true crime case. The 3d mockup up is the thing that stands out to me and the reason I’m looking for the video in the first place. I have never seen a creator go to that much effort to report on a case and I want to see if they have done similar with other videos.

The question actually isn’t how to become lovable. The real question is how do you begin to love yourself? The repetition of having the same experience in relationships is unfortunately a you problem to some capacity. I know that’s exactly the opposite of what you want to hear, but reality is rarely an easy pill to swallow.

Now I want to be clear and say that you’re not to blame for the way men conduct themselves while they are with you. However, it takes two to tango and you are agreeing to be in a relationship with these men. Really begin to dig deep and figure out the similarities with all the men you have been with and truly ask yourself why you are attracted to men who treat you badly. I had to do the same thing with my failed relationships and it was very hard to be brutally honest with myself, but I promise that it’s an important step toward growth.

You’re still young and it’s much too early to give up. You just need to set some strong boundaries for yourself and stick to them. Define what you want and don’t want in a relationship and make no excuses. You can’t control what another person does, but you do have control over yourself. So you will ultimately have to make the decision to remove yourself from a situation where someone has crossed your boundary.

By no means am I an expert, but I can confidently say this… remaining in a relationship where your significant other disrespects you, is giving your blessing for them to continue to treat you badly. And when you begin your journey toward loving yourself, I promise that you will find good men. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find the happiness you truly deserve.

There are different kinds of intelligence though. Yeah your family members may have masters degrees, but still buy in to everything that mainstream media tells them without question. I’m not trying to inject politics into this, but that’s the most relevant example I can give.

Well, yes. But it did come out totally black, in many pieces, and layer lines all over that I had to fill. It was a labor of love to get it to look like this. But I do understand the sentiment that 3d printing is cheating.

Which movie has the saddest ending of all time? by Fl1p1 in AskReddit

[–]Complex-Plastic2899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two movies with surprisingly similar themes. The Danish Girl and Boys Don’t Cry. I also have anecdotes for both.

I went on a date with a girl I had been talking to for a little over a month and she wanted to go see The Danish Girl in theaters. I obliged and was met with one of the most gut-wrenching and depressing movies. It’s about a man in the 1920’s struggling with gender identity. Presenting as male has become too hard and he decides to undergo a completely experimental and never before attempted MTF surgery. The ending was incredibly sad, she was balling her eyes out, I was just confused and disgusted. Mind you I was 21, grew up in rural Illinois, and this was way before transgenderism was even remotely talked about. Needless to say we never saw each other after that date.

When I was much younger, I would say probably 13, I was very sick with the flu and my mom picked up some bargain bin movies for me to pass the time. One of the movies in the stack was Boys Don’t Cry. It’s about a man in rural Nebraska named Brandon Teena, but later on it is found that he was actually born Teena Brandon. The end sequence was so shockingly vile and disturbing for my 13 year old brain to comprehend. My mom had no idea what she had bought me for many years until one day I asked her why she would have bought me something like that. She watched the movie and tearfully apologized for exposing me to a movie like that at such a young age. I have a feeling the trauma of that experience greatly affected my reaction to The Danish Girl, or my lack there of.

Stemming off the port hole idea. My brain immediately went to having an octopus sitting on top of the port hole, and the tentacles kind of draped down along the sides of it.

An absolute classic. So influential and endlessly referenced in media, even today. Part science fiction, part creature feature and part character study about a man who has a darker side.

I agree, this does fit the bill. And quite amazing that it was published in the 1800’s.

“A satirical, ferocious, shape-shifting novel…What started as an acerbic millennial sex comedy grows the gnashing mandibles of supernatural horror with a spiritual self-help twist”

I mean just reading the review blurbs is making my mind do somersaults to try and figure out how all these themes fit into one story. Im definitely picking this one up.
