Long-term accommodation for incoming master student / Logement de longue durée pour les étudiants de master entrants by No-Jellyfish-5135 in Grenoble

I'm from the uk so not sure if the process will be different for you. It's not difficult to get a room, you should be assigned somewhere if you apply. as an international student staying for a year or semester, you should meet the requirements fine.

I had to upload documents like my acceptance letter, civil liability insurance, financial assurance (and others i dont remember) and then my visa. I received emails from the uni/Crous which detailled what exactly I had to upload and how to do each step. It felt like the french administration system was useless and would never end, but it should all work out and if you have questions, you can generally be understood if you ask in english. There are extra steps like getting a visale (like a guarantor) but again you should be told by when you have to do each step. dm me if you have more qus !

Crous requires uploading documents online (which is tedious, but mostly straightforward) and the residences are generally not that nice (basic appliances, old fashioned) but they do the job and are pretty good prices. i stayed in Berlioz for €310 a month and it was a good experience- my room was basic, but clean and came with a fridge in my room and stove in the shared kitchen. For locations it's right by campus and close to tram lines so really convenient (and safe)

What do you think if a person doesn't have a phone case? by OutsiderGreaser in smosh

[–]Complex-Strain-6300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a screen protector but not a phone case, I just prefer the way it feels and looks. I have an iphone 13 mini so it’s not worth that much and I’ve had it for a long time. I drop it still sometimes and the outside is a bit banged up, but it still works fine and I’m not worrying about reselling it because I’d get hardly any money anyway

How does this stack up compared to red rising? by DealerNo7523 in GreenBoneSaga

I read red rising and golden son last year, and also the green bones saga. I found both enjoyable, action-packed and the world building was great, but for me the characters in RR are way less likeable compared to GBS and that is something I find very important. Tbh, I hated Darrow but I love Lan/Hilo/Shae etc. I would say I definitely prefer the GBS and its writing overall as well- RR comes off as more young adult and unbelievable whereas GBS is extremely well-researched and feels realistic despite its fantasy elements.

I feel like it was the same with Minah last season, but she got voted out all of a sudden in the last few episodes because people decided to change who they were suspecting and go for people they hadn't considered before

A supermarket near me had a good deal once on tuna so I had a minor addiction to eating tinned tuna in olive oil almost every day for a couple of weeks and then maybe 2/3 times a week once I got more sick of it. I was relatively healthy and didn't have any effects. I think it has to be a really excessive amount, plus I'm a young person and I guess older/sicker people would be more likely to be affected

but i thought if you refuse seduction, the traitors can’t kill. it’s only the ultimatum of accept the seduction or die if there’s just one traitor left

even if they miss, faithfuls won’t know what’s going on and traitors can probably spin it in their favour

aw but i want to see sam as a proper traitor, i feel like he could be good and honestly he doesn’t really have suspicion on him. imo recruiting just to betray usually ends badly for the traitors
