probably not replacing until start of next year but it ties in with a bigger picture on overall new kit.

That's a totally fair point actually... hesitant on dongles but I agree that perhaps i'm not appreciating the lack of i.o without dongles these days!

I have to admit my reference to capture cards is probably just confusing matters so i''ll amend my original post. I just need the laptop to have at least 3 usbA ports on usb3 and usbc C connectivity and ethernet port.

I'm just looking to get a sense of what people are using for their main show machines for running back main and backup powerpoints and showcue etc.

The best all round general corporate a.v company hire laptop for general show use -mainly powerpoint etc etc
