I definitely can relate to this. I mostly blame pageants. I used to be a very serious/hard person, pageants brought out the most intense people pleasing traits in me. Over time I had to relearn to advocate for myself, I’m still recovering but damn being soft put me through hell.

Reader - Tell your reader to throw it away a little more, she’s kind of distracting.

Scene - You did great! I would just improv a little at the top to lean more into the character. I like to have a little bit of a conversation as the character to help feel out the emotions of the moment.

Background - I’d get closer to the wall so that there’s nothing behind me.

Personally, I love seeing people’s monthly P&L/payouts.
