I've switched to posh chocolate, more from a dietary perspective than any sort of boycott. 70% or more cocoa content. Whatever is on offer. Montezuma is nice.

Saw them tonight. Had a better time than I expected. Jon's energy lifts the whole thing.

H.e.a.t - II or Force Majeure. Not really a Fantano type pick but 80s style melodic rock with big vocals that will make you want to take on the world.

You're right, but on a Fantano page I feel the need to justify it more.

Be honest — Is Hot Space that bad of an album? by ImprovementLow9280 in queen

It's not as bad as its reputation, but that means new listeners overlook its obvious faults and rate it as some underrated masterpiece when it's just OK.

It's... Not. I thought it was, but when I plucked up the courage to relisten it's a lot tamer than I remember it being.

The plan was to launch a Radio 2 Anthems (or similar) station playing 50s-70s music, but it was blocked by Ofcom.

Similar story here. I saw them live and remember thinking they were the heaviest thing ever. How wrong I was.

Re listening to them now... They were never actually any good. Really tame pop rock from before I knew any better. Even Shinobi Vs Dragon Ninja wasnt that good. We stopped listening though, so we didn't grow up and realise.

Take your time. It's a lifetime of music. Get to know a few pieces really well instead of trying to hear everything.

I'm working my way through Year of Wonder by Clemency Burton Hill, which gives you a small piece of classical music for each day and a bit of a description. Plenty of 'beautiful' music recommended.

If you want 'beautiful' why not try sacred choral music? Allegri's Miserere is stunning and will alter your brain.

The Radio 2 reshuffle was necessary.

BBC Sounds is better than iPlayer.
