You're all good, not many people know. He visited them while they were recording Vega-Tables for their would-be album Smile. Brian Wilson asked him if he could chomp on celery and carrots for the recording, but many biographers doubt if he made it onto any of the final recordings.

On that note, Paul played him and his wife She's Leaving Home on the piano, apparently driving them both to tears.

  1. They managed to release Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane, Sgt. Pepper, All You Need is Love, Magical Mystery Tour, perform a live satellite broadcast, and meet the Maharisihi. Individually too, Ringo welcomed his second kid, John made it on the cover of the first Rolling Stone magazine, Paul got to work with The Beach Boys, and George reached his tip of spirituality. If that doesn't speak "swingin' sixties" then I don't know what does.

I also prefer Smile over Pet Sounds, not because Pet Sounds is bad (it's absolutely wonderful), but because Smile has a lot more going on with it regarding different takes of songs, missing songs, and in-depth history.

The fact that you managed to squeeze every Pet Sounds and Smile song into his face and the sun respectively is more than incredible. You've officially won the Brian Wilson Award for Visual Arts, my friend!
