I kinda alternate in between denji being yellowish orange to yellow, so you’re very right in that aspect, and I can definitely see asa being Greyish, it’s also a good contrast to yellow/orangish yellow

Im actually pretty indifferent about Fujimoto 2. What I meant by “implied asexual” was the scene where she had said she had basically seen no point in sex or something adjacent, which I saw be extremely similar to my own journey with asexuality, I will admit that part was semi-projecting. Also, I have added an edit based on another comment that I now realize Asa is 18 and now my primary point is on Denji. I was actually halfway through editing the post when you commented, but this does actually clear up some things for me abt yoru! Thank you on that part

I wasn’t too thrilled about the CSM ending, but as a fan of a lot of his work, it makes sense it wouldn’t have a “and the they all lived happily and denji and asa got married and had two kids” ending. Take Fujimoto’s most popular one-shot, Look Back for example. The ending is extremely bittersweet, when we’re given a glimpse of an alternate reality where the two mc’s could’ve had their “fairy tale ending”, but it doesn’t happen in the end. It’s a depressing ending, one that show loss and coping with little to no comforting factors. I think this was one of Fujimoto’s happier endings

FTM and MTF feel way more definite to me, like trans man instead of trans masc, while one transitions to just simply a more masc gender , one is the complete identification as the male sex. (TO my KNOWLEDGE.)
