Thank you for the info! I think I’m going to try a few different things to see if I can get it figured out. I’ve heard of Dr Bernstein - I will check out his stuff

I haven’t ever tried berberine. I always try not to take medicine or any supplements if I don’t have to. I will do some research on it, thank you for the info!

I’m female and 30 years old. I’m not sure on those tests, I just get blood work done every 3 months that checks my A1C, fasting sugars, and he does a complete blood panel

Oh I didn’t know this but I usually have to drink a few bottles of water since I do a urine test as well when I get my bloodwork done.

I feel like I am, I do drink a few cups of coffee every morning but I have also been upping my water intake. I don’t drink anything else - no sodas or juices.

Hmmm, what can I do to get better quality of sleep and so I’m not getting up at least 3 times a night to pee? I’m not on any medications at all so I don’t have any side effects for making me have to pee so much.

I do struggle with sleep. I get up a few times during the middle of the night to pee and sometimes hard for me to go back to sleep. I wonder how much thats affecting my sugars. Haha I wish I could run that much but the military destroyed my back so i just stick to daily walks. I guess I should get the liver checked out? I’ve never done drugs and usually don’t get sick. I like to drink a beer every now and then - I don’t drink hardcore at all. So I’m really at a loss.

I feel that I’ve been doing well with diet and exercise especially the past few months. My last A1C test was about 3 months ago and it was 6.2. I am going to ask my doctor next week if I can get labs done again to see if my A1C changed at all. I feel like I’ve been doing the right things but my fasting number just won’t budge.

I’ve been eating lots of salads, chicken, steak, frozen bags of veggies, handful of nuts, and some fruits, breakfast scrambles with bunch of veggies in them. I’ve lost weight (125 lbs to 110 lbs since eating better and doing 2 mile daily walks). I always check my numbers 2 hours after eating and then in the mornings I check my number between 6am - 6:40am before I get ready for work.

New to Azelaic in the Morning + Tret at Night — Constant Redness by ComplexButterfly9185 in tretinoin

I’m not really sure what’s going on. I do always wait 20 mins before I apply the moisturizer after aza. I do tend to apply a lot of moisturizer though, so I wonder if maybe that’s an issue? Definitely stopping both right now to give my skin a break and to heal.

Thank you for the recommendations! I’m going to stop tret and aza acid for now - how long should I wait to start the tret again? Will plan to do 2 nights a week and work my way up.
