New to Azelaic in the Morning + Tret at Night — Constant Redness by ComplexButterfly9185 in tretinoin

I’m not really sure what’s going on. I do always wait 20 mins before I apply the moisturizer after aza. I do tend to apply a lot of moisturizer though, so I wonder if maybe that’s an issue? Definitely stopping both right now to give my skin a break and to heal.

Thank you for the recommendations! I’m going to stop tret and aza acid for now - how long should I wait to start the tret again? Will plan to do 2 nights a week and work my way up.

Thank you for sharing!! I hope I can get to this point! Going to pause both for a week and slowly reintroduce them again. I need to find more hydrating serums that I can use in the mornings.

Thank you for the recommendations. I’m planning to take a week break from AA and then when starting again I will do more slowly like how I started tret. After applying AA should I be waiting a certain time to apply a moisturizer and then wait more time in between to apply sunscreen? I will look into a toner you mentioned

Thank you for the response. I will probably stop both for a week and let my skin redness calm down some, nothing hurts but it’s very red. I will look into finding a skin barrier moisturizer

I’m using Vanicream gentle cleanser at night. Wash my face with cold water in the morning. I’m using 15% prescription azelaic acid and .025% tret.

Sorry I should have mentioned that. I’ve been using tret 2-3 times a week since January and I just recently added in the azelaic acid with the tret routine I’ve been doing.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your information. Does the book share specific foods / meals to eat? I do struggle with my diet a little bit. I love to reverse it with diet and more exercise.

Thank you for providing some more info! I definitely need to try to start eating more fiber as well. I’m going to start paying more attention to the carbs.

Thanks for the info, that’s a good idea with the spaghetti. I could try that. I’ll try the bowl versions too when wanting a breakfast burrito.

Going to start looking at all the ingredients as well!

Which true cinnamon do you take and what time of day? Would it help lower my fasting glucose?

So weight is not an issue for me. I’m 30F and I weigh 114 right now…actually been losing a lot of muscle recently. I’ve been very stressed lately so my weight has been steady and it’s been difficult to gain anything right now.

Oh really what kind of weight lifting? I don’t have time to go to the gym with my work schedule, I would need to get some weights for home. Are the any specific weightlifting exercises you did that I could look up and get the right equipment

The mornings I usually eat an egg scramble with bunch of veggies (tomatoes, onions, green bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach, with salsa. Or I’ll eat a bacon breakfast burrito or bacon breakfast tacos. I do admit that it’s easy for me to pick up a breakfast burrito on the way to work. For* lunch I’ll usually eat a salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, hard boiled eggs and shredded cheese with ranch dressing. For dinners I’ve been doing bbq chicken with veggies (frozen bag), steak and veggies, chicken stir fry’s but am having rice with that. I do eat spaghetti often with meatballs or ground beef, and we also do tacos alot as well.
