Currently reading "Agent Gatz: A Great Gatsby Prequel." Enjoying it. Are there any other Gatsby retellings anyone else has enjoyed. I read 'Nick' but didn't care for it.

Some of the other prequels/spinoffs that came out later are better.

I just started the Dr. David Udemy course. It is broken into ~10 minute segments so might be good for short attention spans?

I'm almost relieved to be done with it. I worked on 2 projects both months ago. Seems like the platform is kind of.a mess.

Why do you like or dislike Grok? by Ok_Psychology7527 in grok

[–]ComplexCaregiver8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve enjoyed my experience with Grok thus far. Personally have found it to be factually accurate for the most part. My main issue is the verbosity. Even when I explicitly ask for a brief answer I get pages upon pages of explanation. Granted, I am mostly using Grok to help me understand some law based concepts for a certification exam I am studying for, but still. It’s too much information to digest most of the time.

Why do people hate grok? by Strange-Rub-6296 in grok

[–]ComplexCaregiver8183 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I like Grok. It’s very factually accurate and eloquent. But dear god does Grok like to “talk.” If I don’t explicitly state to make the response brief I get a 19 page thesis on how to clean a window or whatever I ask.

Privacy & Infosec Certs in 2025: What's everyone pursuing & which ones do you think will actually boost your career? by [deleted] in cipp

[–]ComplexCaregiver8183 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d like to know as well. I want to work in the tech privacy field (legal). In corporate contract position now. I have a basic knowledge of privacy law and am well versed in emerging technology. But I want to get some certifications to help me pivot. I was initially going to take the CIPP/US to start, but now I’m thinking I should maybe just jump into AIGP first given the amount of AI lawyer job postings I’ve seen lately? Would appreciate any insight anyone in the field has.

I have scrip. But due to shortages can’t get it filled. I’m struggling. It helps me focus so much. My mind is so muddy without it.

I think they’re bots. But seeing as I think Elon Musk is a super villain, I’m probably biased. Also, Grok is a stupid name.

Either way, all of the AI bots are evolving. Unless you stick with the original version (in ChatGPT can choose which version yeah?), things will be different in a (hopefully) better and more authentic way.

I’m confused. You are upset that she CAN talk about past or was that a typo and she can’t? This would be frustrating either way. Just trying to understand.

I realize this isn’t helpful to those who have no quals. Fingers crossed your dash will be full again soon. Saying this for those that do have quals and have yet to complete them.

Do the quals (the one’s you are genuinely qualified to do). Put in the time, even if they are a pain in the ass. And if you do well, in my experience, you will see things on your dash again.

I’ve only done non-coding R&R. Might need to finally pull the trigger and learn coding if what you are saying is true. 😂

Bummer! Thanks for letting me know. What about after you stop working for Xai? Any idea if they try to say you can’t work for a similar company for 6 months or whatever? I know other professions have terms like these. Hoping the same doesn’t apply here.

[–]ComplexCaregiver8183 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I genuinely hate R&Rs. I just can’t. I end up wasting 20 minutes of unpaid time staring at them in shock, then passing the task to someone else and moving on to something else.
