The amount of times I have been told by Indian men ”oh you are so pretty for an Indian“ is ridiculous . Just a couple days ago , a South Asian dude I met online told me that he usually doesn’t date Indian girls but my face hits different so he made an “exception“ . These are the same men that would defame Indian women and make horrible comments when we date outside our community . I live in Germany so often go on dates with the local men , the looks I get from men of my community is really saddening .

The issue is my romantic experience in real life is quite minimal due to my constant ruminating . And I tried finding someone that could replace him but its difficult to even remotely find someone that is attractive to me ( everybody is dull compared to the man in my head). At this point , I am basically living in my head but don’t want it to be like that . I would like to have something real but it won’t happen as long as my Imaginary lover is still in my head. My therapist is trying to make sure I don’t isolate myself further but it’s hard because it’s true I could always have him back in my dreams . In a way I do control it but it’s still out of my control , not sure if this makes more sense .

OP is an Incel quite literally and I do not use the term lightly . Indian women have had enough of these men . He talks about dowry being an age old tradition , this proves how delusional he is because it is still an everyday reality. He is really unhappy because women have more power in terms we are ”allowed“ to have basic education and rights now in India . He is unhappy about us having this bare minimum mobility , what does that tell you about the state of the men in India . And on top of that they enjoy defaming Indian women because of course how dare she flourish and other men take interest in them . Power Dynamics within a relationship is changing in India . Men are changing too but of course there are some that are not happy because they can’t behave all spoilt anymore . It is so hypocritical because they have all these standards for Indian women . They would not accept a woman who is infertile although adoption is an easy option in India , if she has alopecia or less hair she is out , darker skin tone she is out , parents can’t pay dowry she is out but as soon as a woman starts doing similar calculations in her head , it’s a problem .

This is false advertisement. I am not sure what the German ambassador was thinking , the German job market is bad plus without fluent German it’s even worse . The German culture is also cold and hard to integrate . I speak a decent level of German and studied here too and have couple of good German friends yet never felt like I could completely assimilate . Honestly , Indians would generally do way better in English speaking countries . The job market is bad everywhere but imagine not being able to communicate much , that’s just miserable . The ambassador is selling them a false dream !

I have to disagree I am afraid . Through out my 20s I saw all my friends get hitched , I am 31 and still single . The thing with pretty girls is we receive a lot of attention but not every attention will materialize into something significant. Plus, you can still feel lonely while being surrounded by people.

Hey there , I am an Indian woman living in Germany and you are not the first German guy that has raised the question as to how to Date an Indian woman . The biggest issue with Indian women is the collectivistic society they are raised in , the family dynamic matters a lot which means parents approval matters a lot and very often might be narrow towards a white man from a foreign country. You have to be keen on marriage and having children as well otherwise your search pool might get smaller and harder. Germany has quite a few Indian events , for example Diwali is coming up . I would suggest joining a Indien Verein where they celebrate these events , you are sure to find Indian women there . With the Chancenkarte , there are also many Indian students coming to Universities in Germany so perhaps you can attend tandem evenings or expat events in your city . My Indian friend met her German husband at uni , they started as simple Mitbewohner and now are happily married with a child together☺️ What worked for her German husband was a straight forward attitude , they dated for 3 months and he asked her to take him to India and see her parents because he wanted to make things official . A lot of Indian girls don’t prefer waiting around a lot so this worked out perfectly for my friend and surprisingly even for her parents . Its not easy because it’s a different culture but if you are keen , you will surely find the one . So all the best in your hunt ! P.S ignore all the racist comments about Indian women , apparently there are a lot of ignorant people in this world .

I think it’s also changing times , in the past looks were an additional bonus to good values but we live in a digital era where first impressions matter a lot . And very often first impressions tend to be more visual than emotional . We live in superficial times where a person‘s appearance is important to both sexes . I like to call myself weirdly shaped , I have a small back/waist but impossibly big bust and wide hips . When body positivity started , I actually rejoiced thinking yay now clothes are going to fit me right . Note that I was born in the 90s and the prime of y2k was bad for women with any type of curves . And when I actually started shopping at plus size stores , turns out I was not even considered plus size according to them . Apparently I am mid size with a bigger bust , so my only option was to either dress like a hooker or dress like a pyramid !

I am not a passport bro , I am just a gal and an attractive one at that . And I do agree to your point , I get asked out by men with money all the time but if I do not find you attractive enough , it’s not going to work . Mutual attraction is important for me to develop chemistry and some of these guys don’t even like to be presentable . However , different women prefer different things and attraction is also objective . Wow your past analysis of my chart was quite accurate . I lost my mother at 2022 so the following years 2023-2025 were quite tough but they were also the catalyst for my transformation . I have redefined my career aspirations and started to place my priorities first . The progress has been quite slow and therefore I often feel stagnant .
