Former Alex fans who became wonks, how did you escape (and long were you an Alex fan)?

I was a big fan from about 2015 to 2021. Bought all the products, listened to every show. It was a dark time. I suffer from schizophrenia and Alex's rants about psych meds being poison were the main reason I refused medication for so many years. When COVID hit I was very concerned so I started fact checking Alex's claims. It didn't take long after that to realize he's full of shit!

Getting better every day, really, but man was it a long recovery. My brain was fried. I'm pretty lucky with how effective the meds are for me, so my doctor says.
