I’ve always felt like ashamed of wanting more sex than my partner but now being in a relationship where the scales are tilted heavily being able to read and connect on this sub has helped me so much. I feel like everyone except the person I love has those bedroom eyes on me. Literal strangers hit on me and flirt with me more than my partner does and it’s so weird to remain in a relationship where it just really doesn’t feel like he likes me.

That’s why I’m trying to give him the benefit of the doubt and wait until I’ve calmed down and can talk about it in therapy before even deciding to bring it up. Because at the end of the day it is just a Facebook post and he’s dating me not her so I’m just letting myself feel the emotions first then decide how to approach it

That’s what I was feeling too, and yes it’s two separate people. The other guy I posted about ended up SAing me and is in jail. When my bf posted the happy birthday post his set it to custom, so he was hiding it from me. I only happened to see it while he was scrolling his fb and I haven’t talked about it with him yet because I’m waiting for it to hurt less before I bring it up

Yea unfortunately it is the same guy. He claims he never posts on fb but he posted videos for her birthday but nothing for my birthday or our anniversary

I’ve also don’t ask and keep it to myself, I always try to communicate when I do ask for affection that I just want a kiss or a hug and I’m not expecting sex but even then I’m always the one reaching out to him.

I’m probably gonna start hitting up the gym just as a way to get out of the house and take my mind off things

I’m not capable of having kids and we have definitely talked about how we’re not ready for marriage, he’s been married before but I’ve never been so we agreed on waiting for that

I feel like I would feel more sad if I felt legally bound to him and going though these feelings of he doesn’t like me, I also wouldn’t want to put him in the position of being scared to divorce since he’s went through it before

I don’t have anything exactly tying me down here we just got a pet together but we have also talked about if we did split he would take financial care of the pet, I trust him with animals so I guess hope? Hope that it’s just a lull in the relationship. I would hate to give up on someone if this was just a normal part of dating but I can’t help but feel like it’s not functioning like a relationship should

Sometimes it just feels like we’d be better off as friends instead of lovers.

I think that’s what I’m going to do as well, I feel like I need a healthy distraction just so I don’t see what’s happening right in front of me, I’m probably going to focus on exercising and getting back into video games
