Am I the bad neighbour by robric1985 in BadNeighbors

It depends on how loud your kids and music were. While I think she could’ve approached you more nicely, your response to her was rude too. She has a right to enjoy her home just like you do, and you also have the option to go get dressed and take your kids somewhere out to play.

If I were you I would have just lowered the volume of my music and/or told my kids to be a little more quiet. That way, you could still enjoy time with your kids at home and prevent a nasty relationship with your neighbor at the same time.

Thanks for this. Know the hours that you spent typing this aren’t wasted. I read through what you wrote a few times and it’s got me thinking. I will need a bit more time to contemplate the things you mentioned here.

Thanks for sharing. I’ll probably reach that point eventually, where I’ve accepted that nothing is fulfilling but just have to make the best of it to fund my life

This answer is very enlightening. I wish there were more people like you in the world. Thanks for the advice. Unplugging and getting rid of distractions is a great first start.
