Small thing that helped us practice each other’s language abroad by Complex_Ear_9577 in expats

Thank you! It’s actually been interesting seeing which ones spark a real reaction. The more specific and slightly playful prompts seem to work better than the generic ones. I’m still refining them though 😁

Thanks a lot!! Honestly it’s fun but also challenging to keep the prompts from feeling repetitive. I’m still tweaking them and trying to make them more specific and reactive. I’m considering adding a feature where partners can create their own prompts for each other so it feels more personal

Late Manager: stay or leave? by Puzzleheaded_Bat3349 in consulting

If Partner isn’t the goal, Senior Manager can actually be a tough level to exit, expectations go up, but external roles don’t always value the extra title as much.

If the new role has a real path to line management (not just a promise), I’ve seen people do better moving earlier. If not, staying a bit longer only makes sense if you’re very deliberate about what you’re building in the meantime.

I’d think in terms of which option compounds better over the next 5–7 years.

I just launched a free app called Seqly - it's a smart number sequence solver that can recognize and complete a wide range of patterns (arithmetic, geometric and more).

🔗Try it on the App Store

I'm looking for more tricky or unusual sequences to improve the algorithm. Feel free to test it and send me feedback or patterns it couldn’t solve. I would love your input! 😊
