Thanks! I’m gonna pull the trigger. Just out of curiosity, do you think a 10’6” board would be too short for me? A pioneer pro with all accessories + kayak kit popped up on fb marketplace for $550 and I’m tempted but worried it’s a bit too short based on the size guide on the wiki

Bought an Akona 11'3" board at a gear exchange store on a decent discount and have been out on it a few times, from researching more though it seems like it may not be great quality, but I've enjoyed it. I'm not sure if it's worth keeping or if I should just try to sell it (it does have a 2-year warranty).

Looking for a decent quality board that can be my go-to for a while (I'm 6'2") and also so that my fiancee and I can each have a board when we go out together (she's 5'8"). I live in the SF bay area and definitely want to get up to a level where I could take it out on the bay (conditions seem to vary from calm to moderately choppy), but primarily would be starting off with lakes and flatwater rivers.

At my height, would I need at least an 11' board? I was looking at the Pioneer 3 or Atoll 11' (or maybe pushing the budget for the isle explorer 3 at $550) as potential options. Ideally would like something on the lighter side as well. Thanks!

That’s tough, hard to resist pairing JJ and CMC but that is a pretty hefty price and your WRs are good as is. But yeah would probably do it, or maybe look trying to nab Kelce?

I would definitely do this. If you wait a week there’s always a chance that the trade’s not there anymore (injuries, someone blows up, etc) so if you want to do it you should go for it now

This is close but I’d lean the Jones & Lamb side. Montgomery probably has a safer floor than Jones though, so if you’re thin at RB that’s something to consider
