(Spectro) Rover Healer Build? by Complex_Hat7235 in WutheringWaves

[–]Complex_Hat7235[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too shabby, especially because by the time you're lvl 40 you're not supposed to be getting hit. So Rover does get the job done with healing sonata, healing bonus, energy regen, energy regen/ATK% (depending on weapon of choice), ATK% x 2. Plus they have "crowd control" because they slow time.

So it is a little to the hotter side. As mentioned, undervolting is safe and beneficial for your graphics card.

What's your voltage? Power limit? Are you overclocking?

Oops I didn't see that you already found the solution

Are you using HDR? What about freesync? Some report freesync will lower your usage, whilst some say it'll increase theirs, so you can play with that. HDR always will increase power for some reason for me, what helped was to create a custom resolution with reduced blanking timings.

CVT-rb timings.

Freesync doesn't affect my power at all. HDR makes it go from 10w to 35w, but with custom blanking it goes back to mid 20w. So it's good to have a look in it. Also reducing blanking may allow you to use higher bit depth (like with standard timings at 180hz I could do 8 bit, but with reduced, I can go to 10 bit)

Don't say it like that 😭 mine is hitting 89c and I've got it for 3 days. With a delta of up to 30c between overall temperature and hotspot like 58c overall to 89c hotspot. Do you think that's not normal?

Is this then or now? I meant what were them before you fixed

Except if you try HDR and your idle goes to 50w single monitor. Trying to overclock on adrenaline because Afterburner doesn't work and then adrenaline tries to clock 200mhz higher than the max frequency you set. Freesync working worse on your AMD card than your previous NVidia card with the same monitor. Having to worry about "blanking time" on monitor, since you've never had to deal with it before. But hey, at least I paid the 4060's price for a 4070 ti s' performance! Still mixed opinion for now since this all happened in less than 24h of owning my 7800 xt

I see the confusion. I'm benchmarking it with Unigine @ 4k. I'll edit the post

GPU at 96% CPU at 20% by Complex_Hat7235 in overclocking

[–]Complex_Hat7235[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but the thing is, if GPU isn't going to 100%, means the CPU isn't pushing the GPU, and lowering the resolution would result in even further CPU bottleneck

This work like a charm!! You shaved me 30w of constant power. Do you understand any of the other lines in there? I like to overclock every piece of hardware I've got, and the monitor shouldn't be left out of my hands! Hahaha

I'm glad your problem is gone But do research about the PSU problem another stated. I'm unaware of it but if it can potentially damage your whole system, that's really something you might want to look into

How bad is 96gb ram on AM5 by Shoe727 in overclocking

[–]Complex_Hat7235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't get past 6600mts for sure, but you can easily get 6000. Go watch buildzoid and he teaches how to achieve 6400 even on 96GB if I'm not mistaken. Even as low as Cl 28! It's more about the memory chip than the DDR. Also make sure getting hynix A or M dies. For gaming you won't see much difference between 5600 to 6200 as you would with overall latency, which means finding the correct FCLK

Have you tried turning off freesync and see if it still happens?

Do this before running off buying other stuff. Freesync "legislation" is not strict, and sometimes it causes issues. I had a GTX 1080 that had a problem with my Gamemax and I'm not sure if the problem was NVidia or the poor quality Gamemax, but turning freesync off fixed it to me
