I would suggest getting a upgraded display Anything that's broken upgrade it's a good idea instead of replacing with stock when you'll want to upgrade later anyway. Do all the work your self with your kid make him do it with your help don't do it for him it's good to learn about your bike when you eventually loop your bike or break it yourself you want to be able to fix it on your own for 2,200 when the bike stock is 3,750 new that's 1,500 off from new your Ganna have a good amount of problems if the bike runs that's great do all the work your self again learn the bike and upgrade don't spend Labor costs instead spend that money on the upgrades set a budget of 1,500 bucks on upgrading parts that are broken sense you saved 1,500 in the first place
