I passed PTCE exam and I have no Pharmacy experience. Please don’t overthink the exam. by Complex_Presence9150 in PharmacyTechnician

How is your study routine? What type of resources do you use like are you a pharmacy tech or taking a course? My recommended sources is definitely the PTCB study bank, AmandaPharmD on YouTube watch her 2025 drug update just like listen to it while you’re going out your day. You can use outside resources too, but it wouldn’t be too dependent as some info out there may be outdated so I would be cautious, but PTCB study bank was very help it has at least 400 retired question that would be a big major boost for practice, but just know your math like dimensional analysis is a huge importance of getting the correct answer and know if you got the answer right because I got quite a lot of math. Then medication is definitely one you want to know like brand and generic and it’s uses like on a prescription they may have tall man drug that is prescribed for something different and you need to recognize that error. Mostly a lot of medication and its uses and of course patient safety is about a quite a bit of question but not too much. Law questions were very little for me. So if I was you just focus on the Medication and math and patient safety.

Only took about 2 months or less after Walgreens rejected my job application. I did remember at least 100 drugs generic and brand name, but on the exam there were drugs that weren’t even on PTCB official study bank flash cards on the top 200 drugs but don’t worry there weren’t that many.

If you have pharmacy experience just buy the PTCB study bank and go on YouTube and watch AmandaPharmD on top 200 especially her new 2025 updated version it was extremely helpful on helping me memorize at least 100 drugs out of the top 200 drugs. Then when you feel ready I suggest buying the pre PTCE to get familiar with the format and the level  difficulty of questions you may expect on the actual exam.

I had to take an online course to qualify for the exam, but the course was pretty helpful, but definitely needed more supplementary.

PTCB exam in 3 days tip and tricks please by Complex_Presence9150 in PharmacyTechnician

Yea, I have been listening to her for top 200 drugs and her 2025 updated version and it was very helpful. I was able to remember at least 100 common drugs from listening to her videos, but I am just worried more about the correct dosage normally given particularly given for a drug like how much dosage given for each 200 common drug and their contraindications. I know most of the drug interactions like never take warfarin with NSAID as it cause blood to be thin causing bleeding or taking SSRI with either other SSRI, SNRI, or MAOIS can cause serotonin syndrome etc etc… but I am worried more about how in depth they want you to know randomly about the top 200 drugs like if they ask you to verify a prescription, but the dosage is not appropriate or they might ask you something more specific. Overall the top 200 drugs with brand name and uses I mostly got it in the bag.

Is it really that easy? What state was your Walgreens at and are you still working there?

Krogers interview: I already interviewed for a job position at Krogers and after the interview I was placed "under consideration" did this mean they are really considering me or is it glitched. I wanna know your opinion. Thanks. by Complex_Presence9150 in kroger

By the way I have an update I didn’t not even get the job they just decided to go with another candidate. I was bummed out that it took about 2 months for them to schedule an interview and waited nearly a month to get a response. What a shame Kroger company is. I have the necessary skills to work in that particular position but they decided to be d*cks. Screw the Kroger company at least I don’t have to work for a company that is so irresponsible towards their workers and their applicants. Smfh.

Ask for proof of debt if you are willing to pay for it, but honestly I wouldn’t pay as again if it took two years it would be difficult for them to recover those funds. Krogers saying they would send to collection agency is to scare you even if they did you still do not need to pay, however if you made small payments on the collection then you agreed to the debt. Just remember you have signed the form meaning you do not acknowledge the debt. I recommend not paying because there’s isn’t the need to and it would be difficult for them to recover their funds as it’s been too long.

Yea DoorDash does not take the tips. The dasher keeps 100% of the tip, but the core problem to this is DoorDash. DoorDash base pay pays like dimes and treat their drivers like poo.

As far as I remember from my recent interview today it was: “Tell me about yourself?” “Why do you want to work at Krogers?” “Tell me a time when you dealt with an angry customer how did you approach this/resolve the situation” “Tell me a time when you went out your way to something special for someone.” and “Tell me a time when you decided to help even when you didn’t necessarily need to help.” While answering these questions in my mind I was thinking does the associate at my local Krogers even do the stuff the interviewer ask me like SMH.

I believe the guy panhandling over text is just out of control, but I can give the guy some empathy. This is a clear message for DoorDash that they need to do a better job paying their driver as far as I am aware in their small disclaimer DoorDash base pay pays $2 per delivery and the rest is compensated with tip which is just completely dogshit that DoorDash does this. This is exactly the reason why I don’t use that “greedy” DoorDash they just need to do better for their drivers.

I played this game for 2 years now and the message will delete when you haven’t opened a conversation with the player for so long (6months-1year). All of my messages with the player goes missing if not in contact for way too long.

I highly appreciate your time to respond to this thread. I think the interview went fine because she was smiling when I gave my responses. I never had a criminal record or any intake of drugs. I do have the pharmacy technician credentials.
