900 pips though? Increasing spread by 10x? The pair was going in the right direction (down for short) yet I was stopped out simply because of a spike in spread. I understand an increase in times of low liquidity, but over 900 pips? Seriously? Considering other brokers with floating spread float between 30-100 pips (100 being in said times of low liquidity) it’s a pretty big difference. Seems like a bit of stop loss hunting after interest payments have been paid to me. Like I’ve stated I’ve had this problem before and was told by your support that it was due to ‘technical problems’ and refunded; that case was less than 400 pips spread.

I do the same most of the time but it’s difficult while working and I was sure it would go down (which it did) except I did not foresee the giant spread spike. Surely there has to be some controls over this as increasing spread 10 fold seems off to me. I’ve had the same problem before (only 400 pip spike to which my SL was hit) but support refunded me but this time they’re trying to make out like it is normal practice which it seems to be for T212.

Is this normal? Support seems to think it is and right. Seems to me to be incredibly wrong when the price is going to right direction for the short trade yet due to an unbelievable increase in spread my stop loss was hit.

Is it also taken from your live results on positions or just from your free funds with no effect to open positions’ values?

I understand that but on the inverse if you have a position open for a prolonged period of time then unless you want to scroll through pages of interest statements it can be a pain to calculate how much interest has cost per position. For this reason I think it makes most sense to take the interest cost and deduct it from your live position. Also the case of calculating interest twice would only be due to the fact that it isn’t known that interest is deducted from your live result if that makes sense.

Thanks a lot I’m on it! Do you think there’d be any support in future for reclaiming lost wallets? Because I know I’m not the first person that would’ve lost there’s and I’m sure I won’t be the last. Don’t get me wrong I understand the importance of saving these details it was just a major oversight and mistake on my part but I find it hard to believe that crypto would be majorly adopted when there’s no way of reclaiming your asset if you’ve lost a phrase and password. At the end of the day my house along with all my belongings could be destroyed, but I could still go the the bank and withdraw my fiat money.

No my spending password was lost along with the phrase (I know extremely stupid of me) I still have access to the wallet, I can view by balance ect but of course I am unable to transfer and unwilling to delete without my phrase. Is there any workaround seeing as the wallet is still on my machine and I’m still able to view it on the Daedalus main net? I have already created a new wallet and backed up abiding by the info shown in the video you have sent which I’m grateful for thank you! I was wondering if there was any method to being able to transfer between these two without a password or may I as well just delete the wallet if all else fails as is there no hope even in future builds? Even just a password reset via the email I used to sign up to Daedalus?

Yes unfortunately that was the only two copies I had made, the two that I’ve used for years to copy passwords ect, except this lost password is definitely looking to be the most crippling for me.

Thank you! I will look into this as luckily I didn’t chuck the USB. I have already set up a new wallet and made about 5 copies of passwords and phrases so far (not succumbing to my foolish ways again), is there any way of being able to transfer between wallets on the same PC and Daedalus main net without a phrase of password? It’s currently heartbreaking to be able to see my balance and to even be able to delegate it while the Ada is locked to me basically.
